We will be a group of nine -- 5 adults, two older kids (8 and 6) and twins who are 3 years old. The older kids are tall enough to ride everything.

What would be the best way for us to use Rider Swap? Do we send two adults through the standby line, show them the babies, and get two Rider Swap tickets. Then how many of the group can return with the tickets?

I am confused! Thanks for any help you can give me.

We love using the Rider Swap on FP attractions. You usually need to take a child that isn't riding with you to the queue entrance and ask the CM for a Rider Swap pass. In most cases this functions as a FP without a return window, it'll be good for the entire day.

This is one of our favorite DL tips: Get FP's for the entire group, including the two younger ones even though they won't be riding(since they are three, they will have DL tickets and can get FP's).

When you return during your FP window, snag a rider swap pass, then, in your case, say four adults and the two older kids head in and use their FP's while the fifth adult and young ones wait. You should now be left with three FP's and a Rider Swap pass. When they return, and you switch, you'll be able to use the Rider Swap pass for two of you, while three others can join with the remaining FP's... makes it fun for older kids to ride twice without having to wait in standby.

The rider swap passes used to be good for up to 2 people only. I believe this changed a couple of months ago to allow for up to 3 people per pass.

I agree with always getting as many FPs as possible. If you end up with extras, you can always gift them to a passerby.

Our first night in DL we had a gentleman give us two of these passes when we were waiting to get on Indiana, and they were good for up to 3 people. It was amazing pixie dust for us that first night.

We were told it's for "one ride vehicle" on attractions like Mater's, for example. On RSR, every time we have been able to use it for three.

Since you have 2 little ones, you should be able to get 2 swap cards each time.
