Please help me with decision

đź‘€I am willing to concede on the restrictions argument in order to obtain a unanimous vote in favor of expanding Skyliner to TTC.
Obvious route, IMO, if bus drivers stay as hard to get as they currently are. HS to Coronado to TTC. Eliminates buses at a massive cash resort and convention complex (except AK/DS), connects both systems, and there's a spot north of Coronado to build. Also eliminates MK buses to AoA/Pop.

Buy actual dirt if you want to know you'll have something worth something when/if it comes time to sell...my opinion.
If you expect DVC to be worthless, then you shouldn't buy at all, you should rent. The value of all of these calculations relies on the substantial resale value of DVC, which is true even for RIV.

There is value to being in command of the points you're using - the ability to make changes at will etc, which you get when you own vs. rent.

They will all be worthless eventually, since they have an expiration date.

Some will descend more quickly than others based on cash price, location, room layout, wear&tear, and theming.

Right. So, if I must buy restricted, I'd rather buy DL. There won't be more of those.

And low prices caused by restrictions are very much the seller's problem. As anyone trying to sell RIV knows right now.

Honestly, the prices for RIV are not that low…in fact, anyone who bought direct no matter the resort in the last 4 years is taking the a pretty similar hit if they are selling now.

And, the math definitely is working, even if the contracts go to zero.
