I hope this is in the right forum, I couldn't decide exactly where it needed to go! I need some expert advice!

We are looking at an 11/26 - 12/5 stay.
Here is my dilemma (assuming FREE DINING is NOT offered). I have a 30/35/40 PIN, but I want our Disney stay to start on 11/26. The PIN code doesn't allow the discount to start until 11/28, so I would be forced to do a split stay, and make 2 reservations. We have 2 GAD vouchers, but DD was unable to participate because of her age, so she doesn't have a voucher at all. We would upgrade the 2 that we have for DH and myself, but I'm not sure what I would need to do about DD's.
My questions:
1. What do we do about getting a ticket for DD? Where could I purchase just the one ticket without adding it to our reservations?
2. IF we decide to make the 2 reservations, what time could we officially check in with our new reservation on the 28th? Would we have to have new KTTW cards? Would a trip back to the check in desk be neccessary (assuming we stay at the same resort), or could we just go on our way?
3. If we do this scenario where we upgrade our GAD vouchers, then we would be out of luck adding the DDP to our 2nd reservation wouldn't we? Ack, I hadn't thought of that until just now. We really wanted to do that. So maybe we should fill our first 1.5 days up with resort hopping and DTD, and not do a park, so that we can do a package stay with our 2nd reservation ensuring that we can be on the DDP?? This would allow us to use our GAD vouchers as Fast Passes instead.

Here is my dilemma assuming FREE DINING is offered. We would still need 2 reservations because I'm pretty sure FD is blacked out until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. That would mean I would do a room only reservation for the 26th and 27th, and that would mean 1.5 days without going to a park, unless we bought DD a ticket. We want to take DD to TRex, so I figured we would definitely do it one of those days since we'll be paying OOP for our dining on those 2 days.
So I guess my questions are:
1. Can we do the first day and a half of Disney without going to any parks? I know it'll be hard on my DD because she'll expect to go to the parks. But we'll try to make the most out of DTD and the resorts. Are there any other 'free things' we could do that I'm not thinking of?
2. IF we decide to make the 2 reservations, what time could we check in with our new reservation on the 28th? I'm assuming we would have to have new KTTW cards because of the dining? Would a trip back to the check in desk be neccessary (assuming we stay at the same resort).
If we did this scenario, we would try our best to fill our 1.5 days up without buying a ticket, and doing a room only reservation for the first 2 nights stay. Then we could use our GAD vouchers for fast passes.
Oh gosh, I hope this isn't too jumbled. I know in my head it is, and I can't wrap myself around what to do. I want to make the best use of our GAD vouchers, dining, PIN codes, etc! I also want to make our reservations soon, so if anyone could give me any insight I would surely appreciate it! Thanks!
Also, if you see another scenario that I'm not seeing, please advise me. I'm open to any kind of suggestions!
