I left Ohana off...we are staying at the Poly but I just don't want to eat there. I don't think DH can handle another character meal and we've been to CA Grill, Jiko's, Citricos, Le Cellier, & Flying Fish on previous trips and want to try new places.

AND - I just found out that switching to 4 day park hoppers will only save me $7.44 off my whole package so we have 5 day park hoppers. Our first lunch at Disney could be in any park but we won't stay long because we'll all need naps so we are fresh for the PP&P. Or, we could have a final breakfast in a park before heading home.

Thanks for any help/advice/recommendations!

For counter service in the Magic Kingdom we like Columbia Harbor House and Caseys
For you unknown dinner, not sure if you want TS or CS, what about Wolf Gang Puck's, either CS or TS, or you could try Boma at the AKL or Beaches and Cream (no ADRs) which is always fun.

Sounds pretty good. I would definitely add Boma for your one resort dinner empty or Teppan Edo or Biergarten at Epcot for a fun park dinner.and as far as CS at MK....wing it!! Both Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Rays are GREAT!!

Not sure what your tastes are but I have 3 recommendations for CS MK. 1. Columbia Harbour House is fantastic. Do a lovely soup/chilli and sandwhich combo and very rarely crowded (tables upstairs are usually free). 2. Cosmic Rays - choice is fantastic but always crowded 3. Pinnochios for pizza.

OK so an evening meal. You're already having one over at Wilderness Lodge so I'm assuming you'd like somewhere different otherwise would have said Artist Point as its amasing!

What about the Hollywood Brown Derby? Does some great food. One of my favourite in Park resturants and I notice its not on your list of ones you've tried.

In EPCOT my fave is always Le Cellier but the Morroco resturant is actually amasing and something very different to anything else you'll find in Disney. We had the best service I have ever recieved there and the food was amasing. If you do go here try the Bastilla - they are meat in a cinnemon sugary pastry and sound awful but taste amasing.

Don't really have any recommendations for MK or AK resturants as never really found any good ones.

If you are looking for a resort resturant the Yauchtsman Steakhouse is fantastic! Love this resturant! Great food and a lovely atmosphere! Or I know you said you'd been to Jikos but what about Bomas? This is a buffet but not character one and has great options.

Downtown Disney I don't really have a favourite resturant but would say don't try Bongos! Awful food and really not worth the money.

Hmmmm... well we all have different opinions on what are favorites are..

I am hesitant to recommend Raglan Road after someone's experience recently, but we did have a great meal and a wonderful night there..

Also, Brown Derby at MGM Studios, we always eat there and love it. We also like the Galley restaurant at Yacht Club and we love Beaches and Cream at the Beach club.. We also like both restaurants in Epcot at the France Pavillion.. the one upstairs is a bit more fancy, but quite good.

I edited to add Spoodles as we love it there and always have one meal there during our trip.. they serve breakfast and dinner, I love having dinner there. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=70

My favorite counter service at the MK has been the Columbia Harbor House lately. They have a great salad there that I just love. It has pineapple and peacans in it.

Cosmic Rays is also good if you want to have a lot of variety to choose from. One down side is that there are seperate bays for different kinds of food, so it can be a pain if you all want different things.

What about Wolfgang Pucks at DTD for dinner on your free night? Both the sit down and the express are excellent.

Wow! Thanks so much for all the suggestions. Columbia Harbor House is definately in our plans.

I'm also so glad to have some great recommendations for that one dinner spot still unfilled. I hadn't thought of some of those places and they look really good. I just ate lunch but I'm drooling over these menus.

My favorites for sit down's that you dont have listed are: Hollywood Brown Derby (the Cobb Salad for 2 as an App is FANTASTIC!!), also.. I tried Flying Fish this past August and loved it. If you are in the mood for Italian, Portobello's in DTD is very nice and delicious!

The Columbia House is a hidden treasurer for my family as well.. they have a very nice Hummus sandwich that I go ga ga for.

Wherever you choose ENJOY!!!

My favorite CS in MK is definately Columbia Harbour House, yum!!! For DTD we really like Wolfgang Puck Express (CS) because the food is always so fresh, hot and delicious!!! Certainly not your ordinary CS menu here...

I second the suggestions of Columbia Harbor House for CS at MK. Love their ham sandwich, love their chicken. Good place to eat too; upstairs area is usually very quiet.

As for a TS for dinner... since you're staying at the Poly, have you thought about Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge? Never been there myself, but supposedly it's really yummy. Brown Derby, I can assure you, is fabulous. Went there the first time in 2006, and now it is a must do for us. Have fun, whatever you decide! :wizard:
