We're leaving in a couple weeks and I'm trying to decide on a character meal. I booked the new Cinderella dinner because we had never been there but after reading the reports is doesn't seem like there's too much character interaction (since the mice don't talk and Cindy and Prince are in the lobby and don't come to the tables). So I'm wondering if I should change to the 1900 breakfast instead. Which characters have you seen there and is the interaction good? What times are the least crowded? We've been to CRT, Storybook Breakfast, Chef Mickey's and CP so we were trying to do one that we hadn't done before. Kids are DS 6 and DD 4. They like any/all characters. Any advice or should we stick with the 1900 dinner? Thanks!!

the 1900 park fare breakfast includes
Mad Hatter, Alice, Mary Poppins and one character that rotates. Mostly it's one of the pooh characters. It's all based on characters whose stories come from the UK.

Head over to Cape May Cafe (buffet breakfast) at the BC. You'll be greeted by Minnie at the door. Goofy, Chip & Dale wander around the restaurant in beach attire making sure to stop and "talk" to everyone. Cape May is not as frentic as Chef Mickey's -- but there is lots of character interaction. The buffet is nice -- it has lots of fresh fruit, granola and yogurt for a healthy choice and that can be balanced out with the Krispy Kreme donuts available on one side of the buffet.

Be sure to make a PS for this because it gets crowded quick. My DW and I usually try to snag an early one (between 7:30 - 8:00) before all the tables fill. After 8 it can be a bit of a wait.

Another vote for Cape May. It's my fav character breakfast.

Have you ever eaten at Graden Grille? Great food and good character interaction. We eat here almost every trip.

I think two boys would love the breakfastsarus character breakfast with Donald Duck. It has the Donald, Mickey. Goofy and Pluto. The food service and interaction is awsome. This is at AK.

It was our favorite character breakfast so far. It's a beautiful place...the food is excellent...characters are wonderful. Love it! :p

Sorry...I see you have done CP. Our second favorite was the dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. Great....great...great!

If you have time, the character breakfast at Ohana's at the Poynesian is awesome!!!! Usually get Mickey, Minnie, Goofey and Chip and Dale. They lead the kids in a parade around the restaurant and visit the tables over and over. Great stuff!

We ADORED 1900 Park Faire for breakfast!

The character can include 4-5 of the following:
Mary Poppins, Bert, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger. When we went, it was Mary and Bert in the lobby and Pooh, Tigger and Alice circulating through the dining room, but it rotates on a daily basis. We had a blast!!!! The characters were wonderful, and don't be put off by those that don't talk... believe me... they communicate very well! We saw alot of all of the characters, and they spent a good amount of time at each table. Alice was terrific, as were Pooh and Tigger!

The food was phenomenal, and the service was 1st rate. We went on a Sunday morning, and had 9:30 PS, which seemed to be a good time, as we had no wait to be seated. It got more crowded later on.

After eating there, we don't care anymore whether we ever get PS for Cinderella's Royal Table!
