Please help me decide?

Well, we have now decided that we're going to break away from the tradition of staying at our favourite resort - AKL and go for something new.

Now that I've found out that Disney do not make it possible to do a split stay with free dining unless we purchase two 7 day tickets (doubling the ticket price x 4), we need to make a decision about which hotel to chose.

I want to try something totally new , as our trips to Disney seem to be becoming a little 'samey'. We were thinking that an Epcot resort is the way to go.

With two children who will be 6 & 8 at the time of travel, and who love spending time in the resort pool, we were thinking that the BC and YC look good and it would be something new to be within walking distance of Epcot/HS.

The trouble I have now is which resort?!! Blimey, it's taken this long to decide on trying out a new area/hotel and now I've got another decision to make!!!!

They both look so similar and obviously share a pool etc, but does anyone have any preference if they have stayed or visited both?

Any help would be great as you've probably guessed I'm a terrible decision maker!!

Have a look at the first few posts on the 2011 BC & YC FAQ Thread

The main differences is the themeing of the rooms and that some of the BC rooms do not have full balconies (not sure if a balcony is important to you).

We stayed at the BC last year withDD11 and DS8, and our room looked over the woods just behind the UK. We could hear the Beatles tribute band and partly see Illuminations at night :goodvibes and the walk from our room the the EPCOT entrance was exactly 2 minutes:) We loved stormalong Bay, the entertainment for the kids was great, the pool kept them entertained for hours, and at night they set up a big screen on the beach and show films:happytv:
All this is available from bothe resorts.Dont think there is much difference between the two, apart from a slight advantage in proximity to EPCOT from BC, and the decor will be different. You wont go wrong with either:cool1:
