Please help me decide.....

Decisions, decisions, decisions. I'm checking in to SSR Wednesday alone; no husband, no son, no one; just me. But here's my delima. Normally DH and I stay in Congress Park and we enjoy that section. But since I'm alone, now I'm thinking that maybe I should request one of the sections closer to the Carriage House; like the Grandstand or even the Springs. I don't know what to do. I'm confortable in CP, know my way around. But I also think I'd like to be closer to Artist Pallet for small grocery items, food etc. and also the main pool, which I've never been at!!

For those of you who have stayed close to the Carriage House, what section and what buiding would you recommend? Now, when I say close, I'm talking "being able to see the Carrige House" from your buiding. That close!!

Actually being able to 'see' the carriage house is probably not the best criteria. I believe you can see it from the other side of the lake, (bldg 55-58 maybe) but not see it in closer buildings due to trees, or being on the back side of the building.

When you get there just have the CM show you a map of the resort, indicate where the carriage house is, and then try for one of the closeby units.

Some of the units in the Grandstand area are pretty close. The Springs are close, buildings 35-38 and 41-44 being the closest.

Thanks for that bit of advice. LOL...yes I would imagine across the lake I would have a view of the Carriage House. Not the best criteria at all.

We stayed at the Springs in June. Our guide got us whatever was available with our developer points at the last minute. It turned out to be convenient for us. We were close to bus stop, but took the boat to DTD since it was close also. We were almost directly across from the pool, which was very nice.

We stayed at the GRandstand section last year and were a close walk to the Carriage House and main pool as well as having the Grandstand's pool and bar right outside our door.
