Please help me decide on rooms vs Studios

I would ask the woman who'd be sleeping on the pull out if they want to sleep on a pull out. Or would you be rotating?

2 real beds always seems like the better choice than a pull out, but the benefit of the pull out is that if you put it away during the day, you have more room/seating space.

ETA: Also with the Beach club if you get the studio, you'l be in a separate building (I believe) but you'll get a full balcony vs the possibly tiny one you could get at the main building.

With AKL, if you're in Jambo House, you'll be on the 5th floor in the studio, which some people say the views aren't as great there as a lower standard room. Just some other things to consider than just the bed situation!
I appreciate the advice and feel I'm doing the best thing in booking the regular rooms vs the studios. Thanks for your input. It's been very helpful.

For 3 adults, a room with 2 queen beds will be much more comfortable than a studio. I would not pay Disney prices to sleep on a fold-out bed.

The regular resort rooms at Disney are typically more spacious and attractive than the studios, as well.
Thanks! That's what I'll get.

FWIW, we had a regular room at Beach Club. Full balcony AND a daybed (we did have 5 people in our party). My DH (although not tall) slept comfortably on the daybed thing at least 2 nights. So if you go with a standard room at Beach Club, you could get lucky and get a daybed and full balcony.

We just loved the look of the rooms at the Beach Club and thought they were so pretty. (We thought about a studio room as well, but glad we just got a regular room)

Do you remember your room number? I'd love to get the daybed and a full balcony. Thanks!

It's me, my daughter and her daughter. We are best friends. So we want to stick close together. Going to go with the two queens and two of us will sleep together. I'm sure we will be comfy enough. Thanks!

I'm going with my mom (78 yo) and my daughter (23 yo) in December. I was debating between the BWI and BWV -- very similar to you. We chose the BWI for the beds and the nicer feel in the room. It will be a little more expensive, but I think we'll be more comfortable. I think you made a good decision and hope you enjoy your trip!

It overlooked a little courtyard (it was whatever the cheapest standard view was). It was easy to get to from the lobby, but not noisy

I always take my "white" noise machine to drown out the outside room noises anyway. Thanks for your help. If you have any pics you could share of your view or room I'd love to see them.

You can always request a daybed and a full balcony, they look at request and will give it if not to many have 5 people in the party. Which of coarse happens a lot, say they have 25% have 5 in there party, of course they get the daybed, but 70% of rooms have daybeds, someone has to get them, so request it then all of you will have a bed and the daybeds are comfy, but be prepared to not have one just so you are not disappointed. Can't help with the full balcony, when we stayed we were in a deluxe room so we had a huge huge balcony, but we hated the hotel so much they moved us to the contemporary and we got what I think is the biggest room on Disney property, it was like 5 bays together, it was huge, it had 3 bathrooms. Anyway, the beach club is nice it just is not for us, we have a disability that makes it impossible, the only resort we have had problems with and will never return.
