I'm so confused. My DH and I have a WDW trip booked for October, just the two of us. Right now our reservations are for 2 nights in an AKV value studio and 2 nights in a BLT standard studio. We love AKV but have never stayed at BLT but we're looking forward to being able to use the monorail and walk to MK. We were going to do AK and Epcot one day while at AKV then do MNSSHP while at BLT. Now we are considering canceling one of the resorts and going to Vero Beach instead just because we need some time to unwind. So here are my two options:
1) AKV-one park day for MK and Epcot using bus transportation (no AK or MNSSHP)/VB studio (lose 3 points) Epcot is not recommended the day we plan to go but MK is.
2) VB garden view room/BLT-one park day using monorail to go to MK and Epcot (no AK or MNSSHP) (buy 2 one-time use points for $30) MK and Epcot are both recommended the day we plan to go.
Help me decide. I'm wanting to book today since MS is closed tomorrow for the 4th. Thanks!

Are those your only options? I would do BLT followed by VBR.

Also, if possible, I would stay at BLT, go to Epcot on Day 1 for F&W, go to MNSSHP on Day 2 @ party till midnight. That way, you can enjoy the BLT resort day 2 afternoon and use only monorail transportation. Then, onto VBR to recover from 2 exhausting days.

Personally, I have no trouble 'unwinding' at AKV. I can hang there for days w/out visiting a park. ;)

As much as I enjoy VB -- I wouldn't enjoy the logistics of a split stay within such a short timeframe.

If you are trying to just relax couldn't you just go to Vero for the full trip?

If staying at WDW and wanting to relax I would do one resort, hit up Epcot one day for F&W and do one night of MNSSHP then lay by the pool and just enjoy. That is what I would do

I already have BLT booked and can't change. Everything is booked at WDW for the first week of October. I would have to do VB first.

I agree about AKV but my DH and I have been through a pretty traumatic time and both agree we need the healing powers of the ocean. Thus Vero Beach.

I can't imagine driving 13 hours and passing WDW and not going. It's been 2 years since I've been and we won't be back until next Christmas so I have to have at least one day there.

I have only one day left on my 10-day NE tickets and we were going to skip MNSSHP to save money. So those are pretty much my only options.
