Please Help!! I can't make up my mind!!

Here is my dilemma, I've booked 3 nights at CSR and 4 nights at the Yacht Club in June....I've been toying with switching from the Yacht Club to the AKL to save some money, about $400 for the 4 nights. I've stayed at the AKL, but haven't stayed at the Yacht Club yet. Should I spend the extra money and stay at the Yacht Club or would I be better off saving the money because the AKL is just as good, or is it? I guess what I'm saying, is the Yacht Club worth the extra money over the AKL. I love the AKL but I've never stayed at the Yacht Club before. I just don't know, I don't know what to do. Someone please help put my mind at ease so I can stop thinking about changing my reservation!

I have stayed at AKL and YC and personally, I would chose YC.

What did you like so much about AKL? Those things (like the food court) might not be available at the YC.

We love the location of YC - being across from the Boardwalk with lots of things to do at night. We like being able to take a boat or walk to MGM or Epcot. It's cool being able to see parts of Illuminations each night. ESPN is one of our favorite places to eat. Stormalong Bay?? COOL! A mini-water park at your hotel.

AKL does have a cool feel - massive foyer with lots of detailing. Having a food court was handy, since Hurricane Hannah's closes early. The zero depth entry at the pool would be great if we had little ones. The gift shop is really nice here.

My kids are at the ages where they want the big slides. They were disappointed in the AKL slide. Watching the animals was fun the first couple of mornings but I guess we like being closer to the action.

Maybe if you think of the 'whys' you like AKL so much, you can decide if YC would be a good choice. (If you want animals or bunk beds - YC is not going to be a good choice. )

We have stayed at both. We like AKL a lot and we are staying there again in April. BUT... We LOVE the YC. I would spend the extra money and stay there if you can. We are going back there in Nov.

We have stayed at both several times. We are staying at AKL now due to the price and the food court. The ultimate would be to have the YC pool at AKL. We do miss the pool and the BIG slide but the price savings is important to us.
