I have so many things I "should" be doing. But instead, I am online changing my ADR's over and over and over again. I feel like a crazy person!

1) Addictions can be tough.
2) Any Disney addiction is even tougher.
3) But, have faith.
4) Due to the difficulty, they now have a 14-step program.

(See, I told you withdrawal was tough - takes two extra steps.)

Too funny! I need one of those programs that automatically shuts off my computer when I have been on too long.

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am a compulsive advance dinner reservation maker. LOL :rotfl:

I can relate! I have spent many hours changing my ADRs over the last several months. Good news for me my vacation is almost here! But, I am afraid when get home I won't know what to do with all the spare time.

LOL :rotfl: me too! Once we return home from Disney, the madness starts all over again for the following year, which hotel to choose and waiting for 180 day mark.:rolleyes1

I'm the same way! My husband has declared me obsessed! I actually have all of my ADR's (have changed them a million times) and have started planning out what ADR's I want for next year.

We have 2 trips planned before then but I just can't help myself!!! :lmao:

Hi, Michelle. :grouphug:

The past couple of trips I was changing ADR's from the time we booked the trips up until the day we would leave. Luckily, this time around, our nights sort of planned themselves out where there isn't much wiggle room to change much.

My DH posted a sign in the house..... WE INTERUPT THIS MARRIAGE WHILE MY WIFE MAKES ADR'S FOR OUR FAMILIES VACATION!

My Goodness.....at one point I had 4 or 5 places reserved on the same night, YES I FEEL GUILTY and I have since let them go but I couldn't make up my mind!!!!! Forgive me...... :worship:

Add me to the obsessed list! I have made so many changes and our trip is still more than 100 days away! Is it my fault that DH mentions that maybe he does want to eat at 'Ohana after all? Or that DS decides that yes, we should try Le Cellier for dinner, not the lunch ADR that I made right at 180 days! So I was lucky enough to get decent dinner times for both during our trip but that required quite a bit of juggling other things!

Ok, ok so I am making excuses. Yes, I Vicki, am a compulsive ADR changer! :lmao:

right there with you.... but it finally paid off and I got my Chef Mickey ADR with our trip just 9 days away!!!! :cheer2:

LOL...I told my dh that I think I need an intervention. But, we are two months out and I think I've made all my final decisions. The problem was that too much was available! It was just too easy to switch everything all over the place. :lmao:

July reservations are starting to get tighter now so I think I'm done! (until someone mentions something on DIS and I think...I should try for that!!)

I am with all of you! My kids laugh at me because I have a notebook full of charts of possible daily schedules and the ADRs that could go along with each one. I actually have my ADRs for our end of October trip (which my family likes to call my "pretend trip" because we won't be going unless they offer free dining or another really good discount), but I can't stop making new schedules and then changing my ADRs accordingly. Then I stalk the dining threads and change them all again. It is an obsession!!

Ok, I'm glad I am not the only one! I think that planning the trip is half the fun!

I can so relate! I was all set until DH mentioned wanting to eat at lunch Yak & Yeti on our AK day because of the Kobe Beef Burger that means we will miss our lunch ADR for Marrakesh that day.

So I booked Marrakesh in place of Tutto Italia on another day, and tell him what I did and he says he really wanted to eat at Tutto Italia too :headache:

I think if I can maybe more Le Cellier to lunch, it will give us 1 more dining credit then I can switch a couple of others around but of course I have been searching to no avail and nothing for lunch at Le Cellier for our time

I check everyday at least 3 times a day

Hi Michelle ...... :lmao:

To the OP, I think I will just add you to my contacts and PM you with a list of the places I like to eat, my dates, party size .... and you can PM me the day before I leave with my surprise list of ADRs ;)

I think that the family does not realize how hard it is to do! We went on our first trip last year in August with 7 (me, DH, DD5, DD1.5, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle). They all relied on me and complained about wierd times for eating and isn't there a Dining Package that has 2 sit downs? - mind you, we booked in April for August.

All said we would do something different this year. I told them we needed to book 7 months ahead so that I could do dining the right way when we go in a year or so.

So, what do they decide last week? Let's do Disney again, so hear I am making reservations trying to get what they want - what a PITA! Sorry to the OP, but I too am obsessed and determinded to get it to work and get what I want. CRT - check - still need Fantasmic and Le Cellier but I am not giving up yet! :) I AM excited that we are going again! Off to call dining again to check!
