Trying to book a trip for hubby, myself, 18 month old and 4 1/2 year old. Want to go on the 4 day on DIS Wonder. When is the best time to go? We can go between 08/31/02-12/15/02. I have ready evrything you all have said about hurricanes and rainy season but still don't know???? I want the kids to be able to use the pools on board, play on the beaches and swim in ocean? So glad I found this site. Thanks for your speedy rresponses!

I would choose September or October...definitely still warm, and yes, you always have a chance of hurricanes, but I've had the BEST weather sailing in late September and early October.

If you want to try and avoid the highest risk of hurricanes go in early December. The trade off is that it is cooler then, usually still fine to swim, but there are some days at Castaway Cay that are cool.

How is the air temp, ocean temp and pool tem?

I am so confused. I called an wanted to change to October or November. I settled for Nov 17. I wanted October 20 or November 3 but they did not have early dining. I was scared about going on the wait list? How does that work? My choices were November 10 (1 day at sea) or November 17 ( Freeport too). I am frustrated that I have made the wrong choice. I could have checked earlier in October.

Will mid November be warm enough for pool and ocean or should I try and get earlier in October or go on the wait list for 10/27/02? Thanks for all of your help. Please, please let me know.

Also I am using the military rate and getting a Category 9 ocean room for me, hubby, 4 year old and 1 year old for $1375. That seems good, or can I beat it?

The military rates you received for the Cat 9 o'view (3 and 4 day) are great rates...haven't been checking my email at work like I should, but Disney sent something over about military rates also being available for less expensive Categories, (didn't have a chance to print it out and look it over yet)... if you're just looking for the lowest price out there...you may want to check again, but I would stay with the Cat 9 o'view, myself!
