PLease help answer A Magical EXpress ?

Ok.. So here goes.. I have been told several times for different sources that in order to take magical express all of the parties whose luggage is checked in with ME must get on their transportation upon arrival in Orlando..

My question is.. How do they know??? Wht if the luggage doesn't get scanned in before you get to ME bus? Our dilemma is some of us need to take it and others dont because we also rented cars.. For those that are going to go in the car we wanted to include their luggage but were told we cant..

Can someone please answer for us why??? Thanks

A. they know who is checked in and who is not.

They do this thing called "counting" and if there is not the right number of people in your party boarding the bus, they will ask question.

B. if have the yellow luggage tags, wrap them around your luggage as per instructions... and the bags will show up anyway.

I have a question to if you have booked ME but then decide to rent a car last minuet should you call up ME to cancel?

Thanks everyone.. I think I answered my own question because as I was looking at my ME tags I realized that all of them have my husbands name on them plus either mine or my ds's.. SO, off to change the car ressies to me!
We leave tomorrow by the way.... YAY!!1

You were misinformed.

Disney's official policy (as verbally reported over and over by DME CMs, the ones who really know when it comes to DME info) is that a minimum of ONE person associated from each reservation number must ride the DME bus in order for the luggage to be transported. As long as one person from your party rides, you're good.

It makes no difference whatsoever what name is on the DME tags in regards to who rides the bus.

Seriously, this is the answer. I'm not guessing.
