We are planning our first trip this Fall. Next week will be our 180 days to call and make ADR's. The one thing that is confusung the heck out of me is The Royal Table. We, a family of 4, would like to eat DINNER at Cinderella's Royal Table. We know it's not a character meal, we just want to get into the castle. Is it really a bit easier to get ADR's for dinner? Also, does the dinner ADR need to be paid in full at the time of the ADR? And if we use our 2 dining plan credits each, how does that work if the ADR must be paid in full at time of reserving?

Thanks for helping the utterly confused :)

We had dinner there last Sept. It was a character meal. The fairy godmother and Rosy and Perla (the mice) are there. Also, Cindy is downstairs to take pics when you first arrive.

We were Dis newbies last year, so I'm sure the other veterans on the board will answer anything I cannot.

It is a two ts meal. When you book, they will request a cc# to keep your ressie. If you do not appear for the meal, they will charge your cc $125 ( I think:confused3 ). Your cc is just to hold the ressie. At the time of your meal, you will not pay anything, just give them your room key and they'll take off the two ts per family member.

In my experience, it was easy to book dinner. I had no trouble, but I did book 180 days out.

Good LUCK!! :thumbsup2 Anyone, feel free to correct anything I got wrong. :upsidedow

If you do decide to pay for it, rather than use 2 dining credits, your credit card will be charged at the time of booking.

Thanks. I should clarify, I didn't mean that it wasn't a character meal, just that it wasn't like breakfast or lunch that it was a "full blown" character deal like luch or breakfast, sorry about that!

OK then, we'll try to get a res for dinner when I call next week.

I also had no problem getting a lunch reservation at about 150 days out, even with free dining. So I don't know if it's just lunch and dinner that are easier to get or if the increased prices have made all the meals at CRT easier to get.

Oh, and because we're using DDP credits, they didn't charge our CC. But they did get my CC number so they can charge us if we don't show up.
