Dumb questions but I am intimidated by the idea of ordering on DP. :confused3

Is there any thing limited or excluded besides alcohol?
Is it clear what things I can order(does it say DDP TS/QS)
For QS credits, is it a main part to the meal with what ever sides normally come with a meal or other? Like if a sandwich is on QS is there side or something with it, or depends on where (and again will I know what is on the plan as the "meal"?)
I do need to order my QS meal and drink plus "dessert" at the same time correct?
I see bottled water listed on Snacks, it is also available as my drink with meal too right? I dont need to order a soda?
Coffee is what? Snack, drink with meal, Both? Also listed on snacks I see.

TS is clearer to me but any ordering keys that you can share.
We just decided last night so I havent looked a lot at details here. Atleast its something to pass the time for the next 2 months

You seem to mostly be worried about counter service meals so I will just explain that. Your waiter or waitress will explain everything at your table service meals.

For quick service you get an entree, non alcoholic drink, and dessert. The entree is just that. If it is burger and fries then you get burger and fries. A non alcoholic drink is basically soda, tea, milk, or juice. You MAY be able to get a bottled water but you may not. Sometimes it really just depends on the CM you are talking to. I suggest you just ask nicely and see. Have a backup just in case. Dessert is a cake, brownie, whatever is on the menu. I suggest you look at some menus at allearsnet.com to get an idea of what is at each counter service restaurant.
To know what is on the plan is actually very easy. When you look at the menu board you will see the little DDP symbol next to anything you can get on the plan. Though I suggest asking at the bakeries.
Yes, you have to order your whole meal at one time at counter service. It is one credit so everything has to be done at once.

Hope I helped!

Thanks, I am familiar with allears, use it a lot but wasnt sure if there was a set thing for QS. I looked plenty before we decided to switch. Glad to know there is a symbol, makes it easier. I just wasnt clear if a meal would have seperate things or if it was a set thing.
I will be really disappointed if I cant get water but what can I do. I dont drink soda or sweetened beverages. I can handle juice(but I add water still.) What about coffee?

At counter service locations you get an entree, drink and dessert. Much of the time the entree will come with fries or some sort of side dish, so you get whatever it comes with. At some couter service locations it's called a combo meal ( drink, entree and side dish) You get it all. You choose a dessert. If your on the regular DDP at table service locations you chooses an entree, drink and dessert. A few restaurants have Pre Fix meals which are include: CERTAIN apps, CERTAIN entrees, and CERTAIN desserts- NO substitutions!! I have never seen any item at a table service or counter service that was not allowed on the DDP. Appitizers are not included on the basic DDP, only on the Deluxe plan, unless it's from the pre fix menu which most places don't have.

You should be fine getting water. If they do not have bottled water, they will be happy to give you a cup of ice water. You may use a snack credit for a bottle of water also, although we are usually to busy getting Dole Whips or Mickey Bars.;)

Darn right, I would rather get a mickey bar for my snacks

There's a great place in Norway the Kringala Bakeri that serves soup, sandwich, dessert (anything they have) and a drink..even bottled water is fine. Sometimes the snack credits vary. I've had a sundae bowl at the place in MK on Main Street be a snack credit one day and not the next. So, just ask if in doubt.

I forgot about that place, I wanted to try the soup. I might just get my CS lunch there, thanks

Thanks, Ill ask when I order. Otherwise Ill get kids a juice or milk. I might drink a power aid but I really dont like it (I am weird, I drink coffee or water and pretty much nothing else unless its a cocktail;))

SO here is why I am confused (as an example)
We plan to eat at pizza planet, the menu lists a veggie pizza with salad as one and an individual veggie pizza listed by itself. #2 is a few dollars less. Are they both available on DDP? All ears doesnt mention and its all grouped together.
OR
Is a california/sushi roll at SUnshine seasons or Yakitori a CS credit?
Crepes in France a snack?

If it is an option to get the combo meal, it counts. I have gotten the pizza and salad combo at Pizza Planet on the QS DDP. Sushi is a CS credit at Sunshine Seasons, I got it in December with a drink and a dessert. We usually go in September so many times I have asked and gotten bottles of water as my drink. It is an option for the kids meals as well.
