Do we report these rooms when we see them? I see them all the time and I'm not so sure whether I should report them or not.

Yea lol. Well, I have Princess Outfit and I wear it all the time. So all this "Bay.be" come to me and ask if I could adopt them. So weird!

This and whole dating thing about kills me. My daughter is 9 and said to me, "Mom, why do these people ask about dating and going out and ask if people are taken when it is virtual and all make-believe?"

Thanks for your advice everyone. I don't know why I got so annoyed. I've been on VMK for a long time (coming up to a year and half), but for some reason I just started to get really bothered by those rooms. I should just let these kids be kids and do whatever they want (within the values of course), and not have such a big pet peeve about it. I think I'd just rather see a Disney site be filled with actual Disney fans, not some kids finding a free way to have a boy friend or girl friend. . Just my thoughts

I agree that since it's against the values something should be done. My VMK BFF and I went on our opposite-gendered mules today and hung around in bay be, pet, and free rooms and the taken hot spots. It was so funny but so sad at the same time to see these people just humiliating themselves on a virtual game. At one point, my boy character was the "duh duh" to my (guy) friend's girl character. "She" was crying because 'I no have mummy'. This other girl comes up to me (boy mule) and asks if she can be my bay be too. I say "sorry i only have on girl" "I cant afford another girl" "i not make much money". She says "oh please i come with my own stuff i am free" "please please". My friend says "nobody wants to be my mummy" and the girl says "oh please i will be her mummy". I say "if you are a bay be how can you be a mummy?" and she says "i can just change". I waited a bit then answered "that scary". Just goes to show how pathetic this stuff is. In that same room a "real" bay be was crying because 'my mummy throw me and break my arm'. I really didn't know just how bad the bay be situation was until I went "slumming" on a mule. Just pathetic.

These are young kids that play vmk this way and I know when I was younger I played house and baby stuff. As long as they are respecting vmk values, let them playing in their baby daycare and just ignore them and avoid such rooms

exactly....I have hardly ever seen it spill over to the public rooms, not never but very very rarely.

I think for the younger players, as long as it is just like playing dolls, with no adult content then personally I do not have a problem with it.

You do not have to participate in it or even go into those rooms.

Well I had a new player come into my room. So I decided to give her a gift to welcome her to VMK. We get into VMK trade box. She said she is a bay be. I say I do not give to Bay be. She said ok not bay be now. I said I like to welcome new players to VMK but do not like baby. She reply I am bay be. So I quit the trade window and she did not get anything. And let her know that most people do not like bay bee on VMK.

If she wants to be a bay bee on VMK that is fine with me. I just do not need to feed that behavior lol. I figure if you type in sentences you are too old for bay be.

I guess I'm in the minority. I do not have daughters, but I was once a young girl and still remember how I would play "house" with my friends just about every day. One would be the "mommy" and the others would be the "babies". I really don't see anything wrong with this type of behavior - I think it's natural for young girls to play pretend this way. The only objection I can see is that most likely they are doing this with "strangers" and you really have no idea if all participating are really children or sick adults. But for the most part, I think this is all innocent behavior.

If I wasn't playing house as a girl, I was playing with my Barbies fantasizing about being her... LOL! We won't go into that....

Well judging by the pic, these younger players were in their own room enjoying an innocent game of house. We have all played some version of it when we were younger unless you had no friends. Whats the harm if these kids are in their room playing virtual house as long as there is no adult content. I think vmk needs to be a bit understanding here. No I dont play house (anymore) hehe, nor do I do that ridiculous cute or boot BUT others enjoy it. Remember.....judging by the survey I see here on the boards, there are alot of older peeps that play vmk.........how can these young kids compete with ppl in mini games? They have no choice but to hang in a virtually bare room and play house. Im sure not going to play vmk scout and look for ppl to report even tho some things get on my last nerve to.

It's not that I don't approve of this behavior - heck, I think its healthy that kids do it. It's just the - sick adults - that are out there. That's what I'm worried about now. It was just the continuous - be my mummy - that was bugging me, but I'm over it now.

I dont see why people used to go on these rants on VMK. When you go into a room and protest in mean ways against this dont be suprised if you get banned! Most of these are nice. The ones that are bad are the ones at "hostpitals".

Its just that I feel so sorry for the younger players on vmk. I can imagine how they feel. Like I said they cant compete in the games with older players, therefore can't afford to buy new items that come out. so they go in a room and try to have some fun and ppl go in and report them.

This is so strange this parenting stuff going on in VMK, but the worst thing is that i was at the emporium and i saw a little girl kick her "mom" because she would not try and get her stitch all of this kid and baby stuff is just a scam

Another thing is that honestly people let the "babies" get away with anything cause supposedily they are just little kids that dont know any better, but if they were little kids they would not be able to type or spell now would they?
