yeah im sure none of us want to stay of for a day

My comupter brock 3 months ago it is really i mean really hard to not go on vmk i thought i was never going back on vmk untill my mom brought it to the comuter fixer i lived with out vmk more then a month it was so hard and now i won't get off it thinking wat if my computer does this to me again. Srry but i can not not play vmk for a day

I am finding out more each day why vmk has such strick values. Luckily I have a strong group of friends who all look out for each others safely, because we are all about the same age group. For instance. I have had this buddy who constantly sent me messages "come here" or such. No matter what I was doing. If I didnt respond he would come and give me grief. He started to come into my room and verbally abusing my friends. I find out, he is a big peep!! Dont get my wrong I have some big peep friends who are great. That dude is off my list, and possibly just in time. I may have gotten banned for giving that dude a piece of my mind. And how would that have been fair? And this is not the first time I have had this problem with big peep dudes!

We should ban VMK!!
IF u make out you get band for 10 thats right 10 years
IF u call staff to come to your room 2 times you get band for a day
IF u scam someone you get band for 10 years

I would say about a week or day for making out and if u want staff to come to your room they should come, if they have time for everyone else they have time for you. The scamming should be a banning for a month.

Are we being held at gunpoint to sit at our computers hours on end playing this game? I don't know about any of you, but there is no gun at my back lol.

How much are we paying to play this game? I don't purchase any of those vmk items on ebay, vmk is free, so I don't spend a cent on this game. Again, I don't know about any of you though.

If we get so mad at vmk, we do we still find ourselves typing in our login information and watching as we move our avatars around? I play because it is fun and very interesting to hear what other Disney fans from around the nation and across the ocean in Europe have to say.

I know the banning in vmk has reached a point where it may appear out of control. With more of what I hear, I too am starting to agree with some people in that yes, it does seem random and unfair. However, like anything else, it is important to respect the "boss's" decision. In this case vmk is the boss and no matter how much some may disagree, we really can't "protest" due to the fact this game is free and it is our option to play or not.

Like others have said, more people play than just those belonging to forums or other discussion boards. The DIS is pretty much 1/500 of the vmk population, if not less. Asking the DIS members alone to stop playing vmk could be asking, say 100 players to stop. There are well over 5,000 players in vmk.

I know there are a lot of things that can frustrate people and a lot of things we find unfair, but that is what it is sometimes. I could suggest writting to vmk often about concerns we have and other suggestions we have to better vmk. Asking people to "ban" vmk is another matter and simply does not get done what you may intend. Voice is a big thing, and with lots of it, you may be heard. But in order to amplify that voice, it takes time and effort when it comes to a big company like vmk. That time and effort does not include a sudden, "stop playing".

Ok, I know some bans can get out of control, but... I mean, Cpt.Jackspearow," making out" is innapropriate, its against the values. The VMK values strictly say: Do Not describe sexual acts to othe Players.Now, asking staff to come to your room doesn't seem ban-worthy unless the person uses the report button to do it.But I think " scamming is 100% ban-worthy, its like stealing only virtually. Im not trying to attack anyone or hurt anyones feelings, but some bans are just bad.Besides, VMK is an awesome game! It makes us happy and improves our typing skills, ( well, at least mine lol ) But the important thing to remember is safety.

First of all, there's no reason to shout at everyone on the forum. If you want to shout, please do it in the privacy of your own home.
Secondly, You think it's allright for people to "make out" in VMK? It's a child's game. And that behavior is very inappropriate. Those who do it should definetly be banned for that kind of behavior.
Thirdly, You think it's alright for those that scam others out of their things that they should be allowed to ever play again? So you would like for these players to come back and steal all of your stuff? These people are thieves and have no remorse for stealing from anyone. Let alone children. They should never be allowed to ever play again. Period.


There is no use in trying to get everyone to "ban" VMK. If all (or even most) players did, then all Disney would do is close down the game because it would then become a waste of their money.
If you don't like their policies, then write to them about it. Either that or quit playing yourself. It's a personal choice for you to be playing.

Just like brussel sprouts. If you don't like them, don't eat them.
If you don't like VMK, then don't play it.
It's as simple as that.

And the bottom line is the Bottom Line. VMK is ultimately about business. If it's not making money for Disney by bringing people to the parks, then they will shut it down. And face it, there are millions of kids around this world that love Disney and it's parks. Let alone the millions of adults. A few bans won't really hurt the number of players they have and it won't hurt how many people go to the parks due to the game.

Why are we banning VMK for banning scammers or people who did other really innapropriate or harrasing things. If we get banned and we didn't do anything, then isn't someone scamming you?

The VMK Help Tool is there for people to use! People shouldn't get banned just because of that!

I think the "Ban VMK" part is pointless. It will make no effect or impact on VMK's population. I like the idea, but it is just pointless

All in all, I think VMK should smarten up and do what's right. Parts of the banning re not very necesary.

It seems to be such a touchy subject. VMK IS of course an amazingly fun game, as we all know, but coming here and reading about and knowing ppl who get banned for no apparent reason is disheartening. I mean this is Disney is it not? I can't imagine going to WDW or DLR and walking up to the gate and having someone say "there he is the one with the blue shirt" and then not being able to enter the park for ANY length of time because someone said I did something, without any proof. It just seems that if VMK explained itself a little better maybe we'd all be happier, ya know. Ok, guess I'm done with this now, lots of view, not many posts, see you there. Woot?

Well, I thought the Help Tool was for emergencies... Like one time, someone made a room bc they wanted Push to come, someone in the room wanted push to come so bad, they used the report button.So later Staff came in and said don't use the report button to get push to come. So I think using the report button isn't very good to do if it means getting staff to come

Look. It does not matter what age you are. You should not be throwing a temper tantrum on the forum. People are not agreeing with you. Get over it. Not everyone in life with always agree with what you say.

And please stop posting all in caps. It's truly annoying and extremely rude to all people on this forum.

And if you were my child (at 10 years old) I would be monitoring what you are posting. And if my child ever made a post like this last one of yours, he'd get a talking to and a punishment that includes taking away his computer rights.

Ok im sorry everyone and Im not trying to argue in this post.

The reason i am usually always so angry is because everyone is always making fun of my age. Im 10 years old, so what. You were 10 when you were a kid. Cteddiesgirl you say its rude, when i post in caps lock, (ok here is where im not trying to be mean and being as nice as i can be) but you saying i have a tempure tantrum and everything like that is really insulting. Same thing with everyone else out there who makes fun of my age. Im not pointing any names but plz stop making fun of me. Everyone says mean stuff to me (alot on dis) about my age.
