Please Clarify DC discounts

Is the DC discount the percent you get off a room when you book? Or is there some other discount price announced just for DC-er's? We have this card, but we obviously don't know how to use it.

You call the DC phone number and can apply the DC discount to your room bill. In general, it's 20% off values, 15% off mods and 10% off deluxes in value season. It may be different in other seasons. Call them and ask for clarification or check the disney club website for the most details.

Keep in mind that the DC discount is not automatic. Disney sets aside a certain number of rooms that can be booked using the Disney Club discount. Call and reserve a room as soon as you know your dates. If all of the DC rooms are booked, keep trying. People's plans change and availability is different every day.
