So, we've planned and replanned but I think we may have got it now. There are 8 of us going (4 adults/4kids) and we are staying at CBR. We have already made all PS's and took into account breaking in the afternoon for naps/swim/downtime most days. If anyone has any suggestions please let us know...I'm so nervous and want to make this a trip we will remember forever!! Thanks!!

Thur May 6 - Arrive 11am-ish, Drop luggage at resort, Explore MK (train, monorail, etc) Share a Dream Parade, Dinner at resort, Unpack, Rest etc.

Fri - Crystal Palace Pooh Breakfast 8am, MK morning, Adult night (we are switching off kids to have some adult fun at night! yea)

Sat - MGM EE, Adult Night

Sun - MK EE, Spa afternoon(mother's day massages?), Ohana's Dinner 6pm

Mon - Animal Kingdom EE, 5pm Hoop De Doo

Tue - Golf (men), split up families for afternoon, Meet at Chef Mickey's 5pm dinner, Spectromagic/Wishes

Wed - Epcot EE, MGM Hollywood/Vine dinner/Fantasmic package 4:30

Thur - Split up families (which park that day?), Epcot Fireworks

Fri - Sea World morning, Downtown Disney night

Sat - Magic Kingdom, leave for airport around 4pm.

How does this sound? The afternoons we left open alot just depending on how much down time the kids need after the morning of running around but we wanted an idea of where we were heading each morning. This may change with weather etc but I think it's a plan. What would you change and Adult nights...what would you do?? Thanks so much...I'm so excited!:p

You done good, kid!!! I like your plan! Now, do you want to skip the water parks for a reason? If not, how about Typhoon Lagoon on Thursday?

Also - I am an AK nut so of course I'd suggest fitting in another stop there.

But basically, I think you have a good plan. Midweek, you may just decide to have a resort day if the kids (or you) are tired. As far as adult nights go - I'd just love to have a quiet dinner and a stroll on the Boardwalk or Downtown Disney.

I think we may skip the water parks because my kids aren't a big fan of anything other than kiddie pools (which we can do at the resort). I just love your idea on adult night of a "stroll"! Ahhh...Thanks!!:)

Hello!! I love your plan. I just wanted to comment on your two adult nights. If you plan to do Pleasure Island, I have read that it is busiest on Thurs, Fri, and Sat due to CM night (thurs) and locals on the weeked. Just wanted you to know! Have a great trip!!!

VERY NICE!!!!!

I think you should add high tea at the GF after the Mother's Day massages!!!! AHHHHH....indulgence - you deserve it!

Enjoy!

Have you visited DISBoards Seaworld/Discovery Cove Forum? One show that we really enjoyed during how last visit to Seaworld (several years ago) was Pets Ahoy. I don't remember if it was called that then. I get the feeling that many visitors over look this show. Nice indoor seating and very entertaining animal show with birds, dogs, cats, skunks, pigs, etc.

Don't be nervous, just be flexible. You have a fairly large group and some people may not enjoy the same attractions and shows as much as others. You have already indicated that you will leave some afternoons and days open. If it appears that there are big differences in people's interests, you may consider the possibility of splitting into smaller groups (for short or long periods of time) based on park and attraction interests, not necessarily on who normally hangs out with each other. During the later part of our visits, we try to fill in things we missed or things we want to repeat.

Also you might want to leave the park on early entry days after the regular opening time because they tend to get very crowded after wards.

It sounds really great, especially those adult nights!! I'm jealous!

The only thing I might suggest is another resort day. Four days of 8am start times in a row might wear some down. Think about when you will need to get up! Although on the otherhand you don't have too many late nights for the kids.

Have a great trip!!

It looks good, the only questions I would have are about the 8:00 am starts. How old are the kids - ours (5 and 3) still need between 10 and 11 hours of sleep. Getting up, dressed, breakfast, and to a park by 8:00 would be very tough for us. Does everyone in your party live in the eastern time zone - 8:00 will be difficult if some in your party have body clocks set to a different (later) time.

As was arlready mentioned, be flexible things may happen you did not expect. I envy you - 10 days with loved ones - that is great. Have a wonderful trip.

We are all actually early morning people. The kids are used to being up and out of the house by 8am for school (they are 8,7,5&3)...in fact today is Sunday and they've been up on their own since 6:50am!! Needless to say I don't get to sleep-in ever!!

We all actually travel together all summer to Long Beach Island NJ and even there we are on the beach by 9am so early mornings shouldn't be a problem as long as we break in the afternoons.

I'm so excited I may not sleep at all! I don't want to miss anything!

Thanks for the suggestions!!!:teeth:
