Okay. I have traveled Disney a lot in my life, but took a break while my kids were babies. Wow, have things changed in a few short years!! Complicated to say the least. So, here's the deal. We are headed to Disney in March. Staying in a villa at GF. We will have the kitchen there. It will be my husband, my mom, myself, and our two boys (3&8). The boys are extremely picky eaters but the rest of us basically vacation to eat. So, we have opted out of the dining plan so that we have more flexibility. Could someone look at this itinerary and tell me if it is too much (or too lacking)? We're going for four nights.

Day 1 - Arrive at hotel around 2pm. Dinner at Tutto Italia or Via Napoli.
Stay at EPCOT for IllumiNations.
Day 2 - Bkfst in room. Morning at Disney. Lunch by the pool.
Dinner @ BOG w/ Wishes Dessert (realize this is hard to get)
Day 3 - Bkfst in room. Hollywood Studios
Lunch @ SciFi
Dinner @ Mama Melrose with Fantasmic package
Day 4 - Animal Kingdom. Tusker House character bkfst
Lunch by the pool
Dinner @ Citricos
Day 5 - Early bkfst at Kona before check out

I have no idea if this is good, bad. I feel like my eyes are bugging out trying to figure this all out. Help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I would consider another character meal for the kids. Sci if is ok but they might enjoy Hollywood and vine more.

Because of the +10, it is better to put BOG and the dessert party as close to the end of your trip as possible if you want to maximize your chances.

Looks good except I would swap day 2 and 4 and do Via not Tutto. Also, I've never been, but have heard Narcoossees is better than Citicos. If I were doing a signature for seafood, then I would even consider Flying Fish.

I don't know if you've been to disney before but one thing they stands out to me is "lunch at the pool" almost daily. While we always go back for breaks, we generally get back to our room closer to 1:30-2:00pm (and we eat lunch earlier than this). If you're in the park at opening and want to get in a fair amount of rides, being back at your resort by lunch may prove challenging. If you're not really into attraction are only at the park to see a few things in the mornings, then your plans are appropriate.

I would go with Via Napoli in Epcot.

The only other thing would be to maybe switch lunch at Sci Fi for breakfast at 1900 Park Fair or Chef Mickeys. My son loves Chef Mickeys and it is a must do every trip. Park Fair is princesses however it is in Grand Floridian.

With the amount of food you get I cannot even think of having a Sci Fi lunch and Mama Melrose dinner on the same day. If it were not for you wanting the Fantasmic package I would keep Sci Fi and drop Mama Melrose.

Your boys will love Tusker House if you only want one character meal this is the one to pick.

I would definitely the second for Narcoossee's. We ate there a couple of years ago and one of the best meals on property. I would not recommend flying fish. I haven't been too impressed with them before.

I'm not sure how the schedule will end up working out for Sci-Fi lunch followed by Mama Melrose Fantasmic dinner package on your Hollywood Studios day. They will most likely be much closer together than you anticipate. The Fantasmic package is usually early, a lot of times between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Remember that a "good" plan is very subjective. What I look for in a dining plan (not a DDP ;) ) is the plan "too much" and/or "to spread out". I really like your plan! Its focused on your park days. It also isn't overwhelming.....IMHO :goodvibes The other thing I like about it..........is its variation.......you cover the gamit. To me this is an excellent plan............but in the end doesn't matter............are you happy with it? If so then :thumbsup2
