Please change the menus

Where are the speaker's located? Since they change table numbers on each cruise.
The speakers are located in the columns that are spread throughout the room. Any table close to one will have the same problem. We once had a table next to one but far from the show and it was also problematic.

Thank you. I kinda want to get a center view seating. Last time I was on the wonder I was off to the side and I couldn't see the stage area as well. It was kinda further back to. I didn't have any sound issues. I'm wondering if I was placed there since I originally wrote in my requests not near the speakers. So I was curious where they were.

So we have done 10 cruises and we are vegetarians (we eat all dairy) but no seafood, poultry, red meat, etc.

There are times when I wish the vegetarian options would get a refresh as they are limited and often overlap from night to night with similar items. Eggplant, mushrooms, tofu comes to mind as things that often overlap.

I have learned that I can ask for things to be made and often times it is very well done. Most soups we ask for vegetarian options of what is being served that night if needed. We often ask for a penne arribiata with veggies and fresh buffalo mozzarella cheese and it is delicious and has a small kick to it. We also often ask for Indian Vegetarian food. This has been more hit or miss and I am guilty of comparing the Indian food on the ship to what we make in our own house.

However, that being said there are some things we look forward to on each sailing - such as black truffle pasta pursettes, deep fried brie, johhny cakes, black bean cakes, tomato tarte, etc. My DW loves the farmhouse salad with small potatoes.
It's a toss up for us. We look at it like going out to eat at a favorite restaurant and getting the same thing every so often. Plus at home, we may rotate through similar or same dishes every 3-4 weeks so for us this is not that big of a deal. I will say some options on the Wish for Vegetarians are different and tasty - such as the Soba Noodle Tofu dish in Marvel and the Red Quinoa Tacos in 1923 - both delicious and different.

If they make changes, I would say that I hope they are small tweaks rather than wholesale scrap one menu and replace it with another menu.

Yes, the speakers are located on the columns. We were located (looking at the stage) at the left column first row. It was annoyingly loud to the point you could not hear the person next to you. The next time we cruised on the Wonder, we requested seating away from the stage. A porthole window table near the entrance was perfect to enjoy the show and our family.

We've only been on the one dcl cruise, with another booked for next year. We really enjoyed most of the menus we had (animators was the least fav) but I loved the starters and mains from royal palace.
We sail on the fantasy next year and am hoping they don't change the menus too much, as we would love to have some of the items we loved from the last cruise (duck, steak, brie... I'm looking at you).

What I was told by someone, is that if you like something from a different restaurants menu for that night your server can get it for you. Is this true. I could eat the brie starter every night if allowed. 😊

I also didn't mind the pirates menu. We were lucky to have the buffet on our last cruise too (just before they re stopped it) and we loved the Mexican food and pancakes. But get that it was too much waste.

I can understand why for those who have done plenty of dcl cruises you may be bored with the menus. But it's always a concern when they change menus, as sometimes the changes can be for the worse.

Yes it’s true. We like black truffle pasta pursettes and often tell our server the night before can we have them on the next night so they have time in the kitchen to plan for it unless it is on the menu. Often times our last night at dinner we might do a medley of our greatest hits for dinner!
