Plaza Restaurant ??

Please tell me about seating at the Plaza (not the counter service place). We are going to be at MK on a Sat. night in Sept. Traditionally this is the 1st parade/fireworks in 2 weeks. Is there outdoor seating where they take your order, or all indoor? Can we get one of these tables and keep it for the shows? Can we see the parade from the tables?
What time would you suggest? We know that fighting crowds this night WILL be a fact of life. I'd like to tour the park, but I don't think it will be realistic.
Also, please tell me if you would avoid eating here at that time.

We have eaten here on several occasions and this restaurant is one of our favourites. We have always eaten inside, not sure that you are ever seated outside. Food is very good, burgers, sandwiches etc. We have usually found that we are in and out in about an hour.

I've never seen anyone eating outside at the tables. Usually guests sit at the tables while they wait for their names to be called. I also don't think it would be a good place to watch the parade. Since Main Street is closed for the parade, the sidewalk in front of the Plaza is usually jammed with people on the move. The restaurant is definitely a good choice for good food and atmosphere otherwise.

I love the Plaza...the sandwiches are so fresh & yummy. The tables outside are NOT for eating at the Plaza. You can only sit inside to be served by the Plaza. There is a counter service ice cream place next door (kind of attached) and you can get your ice cream there and take it outside to sit atthe tables outside the Plaza.

And, I agree, I don't think it's a good parade viewing spot.

We love the Plaza for GOOD sandwiches. Wear your green ribbons b/c we will be at DW at the same time (overlapping) and also at WL.

The Plaza has yummy burgers. Far better than the average counter burgers at other places in the World.

"It's a Small World" . . . where are you in Alabama? We live in an eastern neighborhood of Birmingham.
We will be at WL from 9/7-9/14. How about you? Now I definitely have to find some lime ribbons.

We want to go to the Plaza for the burgers and I want to try that salad with the fruit and chicken. Yum!
