Plaza Restaurant in MK

Hi All, can anyone tell me a little about this restaurant-we been to Disney 4x & somehow overlooked this one. We're going again 4/6-4/12/12 & thought this might be a nice change for lunch. It's not a character restaurant one right? Also, do they have outdoor seating? Is the food good? TIA!!

it is a cute little place. Reminds me of soda shop. I've only had the banana split there twice but it was SOOOOO good!

Plaza is a basic sandwich shop. It's all indoor seating, no characters. It's a fairly small restaurant. The sandwiches we had were decent. I had the cheese steak and DH had the club. His was better IMO. They have wonderful milkshakes. It's a great value oop, but I wouldn't considering it if I was on the DDP and using a TS credit for it. It's too cheap. (Barely more than eating at a CS meal).

It's very pretty inside. the milkshakes are wonderful! We went for the 1st time this August. I had a Reuben sandwich which was delish. My DSis had meatloaf dinner which was the special she said it was great. I do recommend it and we will go again, but I question why it's considered a Table service. Yes they wait on you, but the food selection, while good, is really just sandwiches.

we really enjoyed our meal there-its a step up from QS but at a reasonable price-and the portions are huge!
BTW, if you go, GO before you go Thre are no restrooms inside!

If you are in the AK I would recommend Flame Tree BBQ as an alternative. The seating out outdoors (not so good when it is really hot) but the BBQ is awesome, and a pretty good value.

Its pretty good for burgers and sandwiches. My DH got there meatloaf once and it was good. But the service isn't very good/attentive. Its the one negative that makes me think twice about returning since we've gone a few times and its always bad. The ice cream is good, but you can also get that next door to go.

Plaza Restaurant is one of our favorites. Very reasonably priced - as others have said, it doesn't cost much more than counter service, but the quality is a step above CS. The sandwiches are very good, the salads are excellent, and the ice cream is wonderful. We've always had great service at the Plaza - we even went back a second day when we knew we could get a certain CM/waitress - unfortunately I can't remember her name.

This was an inexpensive sit down restaurant for my party of seven. We had an evening ADR and was seated where we could look straight out at the lit up castle. It was beautiful! We enjoyed all of our food too.
