Plaza Restaurant and dinner

Just called to make PS's for June at the Plaza Restaurant and when I asked for a 5pm seating they said the Restaurant only takes PS's up to 4:50 because then they are closed. Is that right? Everything else I found said they were opened until an hour before closing. I just don't want to go and feel like we are being pushed out the door because they are closing.

I guess it might depend on the night, but I just called and made a 6:45 ps for our trip in May. I just asked for the last available seating that day, and 6:45 was it. The Magic Kingdom is open until 8pm that night.

I just made a PS for Plaza Restaurant April 21. The ressie is for 7pm. That night Spectromagic is at 8:30 and wishes afterward at 9:30pm. Should I call and double check that they will seat us at 7pm?

If the June hours for the parks have not been posted, they only book until the earliest closing time. I tried to get dinner at CRT for dec 26( I knew the park was open until midnight)and when I called at 90 days they said the latest I could get PS was 4:45pm. I told her I thought she was mistaken, but she did not budge. I kindly said good-bye and called the next day and had my choice of any time from 7:45pm-11pm. Just call back again.
