Plaza Inn character breakfast

Now you have me curious. When was that? We did it 3 years in a row and always the same photo with no character.

Two years ago we had our photo on the veranda with Tigger, but last year, it was just us.

In February we had Minnie, Chip, Dale, Perla (No Suzy), Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, Max (I was so excited! He was the only character I had never met before and Goofy is my favourite) Rafiki, Captain Hook, Fairy Godmother,

I've seen Rabbit mentioned here and there for the Plaza...I hope he's there when I go in a couple of weeks!

Great thread! Despite having gone to DLR a number of times, we've never done the Plaza breakfast but plan to on our trip in 2 weeks. Looks like a great variety of characters! Makes me wonder why I've always overlooked this one!

A BIG problem! The number of times we've had OUR character interaction at our table interrupted by pushy parents trying to get at a character rather than asking for the character to come to them... It happens at least once every time we're there.

Oh gosh, don't let that happen to me!! I'm not so diplomatic when people don't follow the proper channels. I can understand it's frustrating to not see everyone, but go to a character handler, NOT interrupt MY FAMILY's meal that we paid good money for too.

I don't know if it was an unusually slow morning, but the restaurant was only about half empty by the time we left. Characters came around more than once. At one point, Minnie, Hook and Pooh were sitting together at an empty table pretending to chat and have breakfast. It was that slow. We were out before the park opened for the regular day, so about 45 minutes.

The best time to go is during MM I think. People don't like to get up and go to breakfast that early, especially if MM is at 7AM.
