Plaza Inn Character Breakfast

Can you please give me your opinions of this? Is it worth it?

Its our favorite character meal. We like that we dont have to take time to leave the park. The interaction is wonderful! There is always a nice selection of characters. I also really like that someone plates up the hot foods (cafeteria style) so that other guests arent touching my food. (I have issues with regular buffets).

Is the food worth $25 per adult? No, probably not. But you arent going for juse the food! The characters make it "worth" the price.

For us it's a "must-do"! But, if you are going at a busy time, I would suggest grabbing one of the earlier reservations. It can get pretty crowded as the morning wears on, and then you don't end up getting as much time with the characters (although it is still fun, and still worth it no matter what!).

100% worth it to our family. We do a character meal every time we are at Disneyland. We've done this once and Goofy's dinner twice. Breakfast at the Plaza in is the way to go. Lots of character interaction and an all you can eat buffet with excellent food!

I love the fact that there is a wide variety of characters that appeal to girls and boys (I have one of each). Its a huge plus that its inside the parks. I wish they would do earlier seatings so that you could come in before the park opens so that you could be done earlier. We have always felt this one was really hectic, the food lines have been long the four times we have been here in the last few years. But I think we have just been unlucky since most people on the dis really love this one. I agree with another poster that the food is not the main draw at this or any other character meal. I love the setting and being able to eat outside and again, love the fact they have so many characters.

I also agree with getting the earliest ps they have. That helps with the crowd issue.

Very worth it. Make your priority seating for as early as you can so all the other guests can wonder why you are going behind the rope before them...

It is a good place for breakfast, except if you are by yourself with the kids. Its very hard to juggle your trays w/drinks and plates. If you are seated outside and leave the kids, you can't see them.
This happend to me last year with DD then 6, it was very nerve racking, luckily there was a huge party next to us with a very understanding mom. We won't do this again unless DH or friends are with us.

If you book the meal for 8am when the park opens do they let you in 1st to get to your ADR on time? We will be at the GCH so can use early entry if it that is available for the day we book and maybe do some rides 1st. If EE isn't on that day would it be better to enter the park via the main gate or the monorail?

We love the PI for b-fast! We usually do it on every trip and I was going to pass it this coming trip. I booked at another place and it bothered me so much that I canceled and made reservations here! It's a great way to start your DL day. I also think there is something special about the PI. It is the only character b-fast in the park and I always get a magical feeling in me. Don't get me wrong the others are good too, but this one is a must do for us!

Believe it or not I haven't been to this one since the Princesses left it but we always went before that. I need to go back because the food was EXCELLENT! We were so full after eating there we had to take it easy for awhile! That is suppose to be a recommendation not that it sound like it!

we just went on monday for the first time. We had 940 adrs and it was not very crowded. when we finished at around 11 we had seen minnie ( 2x!!) dale, hook, fairy godmother, pooh and I danced with tigger!

omelet bar was good, I liked that you got your own drinks ( I am always dehydrated on trips, so this way I could get my own iced tea and orange jusice.) they have pre made nestquick choc milks for the kids.mickey waffles, french toast, we never felt rushed and we got a ballon per kid. When the 3 year old lost his balloon the fairy godmother went n and got him another.

They don't do the banging on stuff like the other char breakfasts ( that is fine with me!) And when you are done you are already in the park, and during you can send someone out to get fast passes if needed.

I would definately return!

Thanks guys, you made my decision that much easier. I think im gonna go for it. Its just that when we go to DL its for my moms birthday, and my dad and I are setting up a fun filled day of surprises for her. I think this is definately going to be one of them.
