Franklin showed up on our doorstep last summer very thin, hungry, didn't know how to play and didn't know what catnip was.
Here he is now playing with his mousey.

Beautiful Cat! Although I hate to tell you this....that first picture is not a "Happy" look. It is a look of "I am about to take over the world!" Very dangerous!

Our Seymour is a darker gray, and we rescued him from the pound. He had already been rescued and returned by a family with small children. Evidently, he was not a fan and showed his displeasure with a violent streak. He still has his "moments", but he has been the most loving cat as well.

His only real drawback is he won't let us take in any of the area kitties that show up at our door. For now, we feed them and provide shelter, but Seymour says they have to stay outside!
