Playing Bingo

They start selling the books maybe 30mins before the games start. Usually a long line of people, and seats limited. Make sure you budget for bingo: its very expensive, especially if there are several of you playing. Many folk will tell you that they have won $200, but fail to tell you that they have almost spent that much during the week on books! Bit of fun, but boring after a while. We found it very slow going and its very different to Bingo that we have here. We usually have one go during the cruise, but thats enough for us. Nat:Pinkbounc

My DD and I played three times and loved it. She won the door prize, but we never won the pot. I thought the host was very funny and it was a nice diversion. It is pricey though, so be prepared. I averaged $40 a game for the two of us.

We plan on playing twice on our upcoming 7-day cruise...Once during the week, and the final night for the snowball jackpot...we will probably buy the $35.00 value pack of cards for each session

I didn't play on the Magic but I did play on the Wonder...I won the big pot it was like a 100 and something and wife won about 70 bucs the day before...Because it was a short cruise and we didn't do any shore exc. our winnings just about paid our bill. Our onborad bill was only a few dollars.::yes::

GOOD LUCK

That must have made you happy. My dd and grandaughter went on the three day cruise and I don't remember bingo. We were so busy we might have overlooked it. Can't wait for the seven day cruise. Will have to try it aleast once.

I won around $175 then, a few days later, around $1350, for a total of around $1500. I used it for a down payment for our DVC membership. It was WAY cool!!! I'm hooked. It is expensive, but it is also fun. Cheaper than a lot of other things!!!

When we went bingo never seemed to start on time because they want to sell cards to everyone waiting in line. If you go early you do avoid the lines and can get the seat of your choice--table vs straight chair. It is addicting and expensive. I never won, but my mother won $150 and my son $100. Always so close for the fnal jackpot---maybe this year!

There was alot of money given away on our recent trip. The jackpot bingo won was $5900.00! It was tons of fun. Other winners won anything from $100. to 700.00. They also have a kids pack for $15.00 which only has 2 games on each sheet (set of 5 sheets). Remember the bingo love. Yea baby.

Whooooooeeeeeeeeee!!! I won the the $5900 jackpot on the Magic. Still hasn't quite sunk in that I did. I wasn't even going to play but didn't want my son to play alone. What a rush and unforgettable trip.:jester:

OMG!! That was you. Do you even remember being on stage? We were in the front row. Congratulations!!

HI;
We went twice and won $368. We went with our kids (5 and 6) and they had a great time, its really family oriented and kids friendly.
Very different from other Cruises Bingo's. My kids still love to say "Yea Baby" and "Crickey". You are suppose to say Yea Baby every time you have a number and Crickey when you dont have it. And as you can imagine the kids have a great time yelling if they have the number or not. On the last Bingo someone won over $5000, and thats a big "Yea Baby". So, go for it, but remember that Bingo is addictive, I'll recommend to go two or three times.

Way to go. Now I know I have got to go a few times. Can't wait.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

I won the jackpot on my March Celebrity cruise (had to split it though!) and that was after winning $700 at blackjack and getting upgraded to the royal suite (our room was very noisy and the hotel manager took pity on me). Anyway, after the upgrade and winning at blackjack I said to my husband "the only thing that would make this cruise better is if I win the bingo jackpot". He was speechless later that evening when I did. When we disembarked we ran to the store to buy lottery tickets...........

Yea right! No such luck. We are sailing on the Wonder in September and I am looking forward to playing bingo. My kids love it too.

4myguys,
No, I don't remember much of being on stage. Since Andrea was calling numbers and lighting the wrong ones on the board I was sure they were going to say sorry no bingo. I'm glad my son was there to help me make it back to the stateroom. We're still reeling from the trip. This was our 4th cruise and one we'll never forget.
