I'm wondering if anyone knows the best time to go to Playhouse Disney. What time of day is the least crowded, if any? I have heard that there are no seats, so is it possible to bring a small blanket or towel to have my son sit on? Any info and tips about it would be great.

I would go early. it gets more crowded the later you wait. You can bring a blanket, but there is no need, The carpet is plenty soft and clean enough, unless he is a small baby and prone to licking the floor :rolleyes1

One tip... Do not sit in the very front row. Everyone is sitting on the floor and we had a front row seat to the right of the stage. I thought for sure that it would be a great viewing area but I was proven wrong after the first few minutes. The puppets are actually a bit below the stage and all we could see were bits and pieces of Mickey and friends heads and arms! I would try to sit in the middle towards the middle stage area if possible. That seemed like it would be the best view of the stage and puppets. Kids are allowed to stand up and dance around but it was still hard to see anything being as close as we were.

We found the best viewing area to be in the middle of the stage and middle of the section. If you go earlier in the day, that area seems to have less traffic. The high value rides etc get more attention. My daughter loves the show so we make it our first or second stop. Keeps everyone happy

We always try to go in right at the last minute and sit right at the back. That way if my dd can't see properly she can stand up without blocking anyone's view (also always feel a bit "hemmed" in in the middle).

also went last minuite and and sat right at the back so my daughter stood up the whole time. Only been to it once so not sure how busy it gets

I just wanted to mention that the line for this show can look like there is a gigantic crowd going in and there will be no way to get a seat...but surprisingly, they fit mass quantities in there and everyone manages to be very well behaved sitting on the carpet. No need to sit on a blanket or towel.
