Trying not to spend too much - less than 2k if possible.
Have been to Rainbow, Sams, Costco, Lowes and what I want I can't see to find.

Am looking for a large deck (at least 5x5), monkey bars, tire swing, climbing wall, slide. DOn't even care if there are swings or not.

Anyway, have considered the sets at Sams Clubs for the price they can't be beat, but the wood seems cheap. THe steps and platforms just seem so thin...?

But just found one at CostCO that seems great, but no monkey bars:http://www.costco.com/Browse/Produc...lang=en-US&Sp=C&ec=BC-EC11007-Cat4060&topnav=

seems like I'm not going to be able to get what I want.. at least for the price!!

We love our Rainbow set, and it's in solid condition, and almost 8 years old. Well worth the $. It gets played on daily (and the kids love the swings, but the fort is the most used), even in the snow.

OP, the link to the costco one looks like FUN! We have looked at the Rainbow ones and for customizing that is the way to go but if you just want a good deal on a good quality Id go with the costco one! Depending on the age/ages of your child/ren this could be put to good use by ones imagination!

Have you looked at Woodplay? They are a little pricy but fantastic - there are configurations that have what you are looking for. Website is woodplay.com

Good luck -

Jane

We seriously looked at a builder here in town that will custom-build or adapt wood playsets when we were looking. That said, we ended up with a Rainbow set from Wal-Mart that only cost like $800. It was perfect for us, even if the poor customer service people had no idea that they even had the thing in stock! :rotfl:

We have an Ultrabuilt and really like. Better pricing and I liked the forts better than Rainbow. You can customize just about any way you like. We have a large fort with picnic table underneath, large rock wall, monkey bars, slide, ramp, climbing net and space to hang three things (glider, swing, babyswing, bar etc.)

We have a Rainbow system, and it is very loved here. The kids play on it every day, and never get tired of it. It's still in great condition after 2 years of solid use.

We loved our Rainbow set (we had it for 5 yrs before we moved across the country). It was well made and sturdy. We were going to buy it at Costco, but the Rainbow dealer near our home was offering free installation. It took them a day to get it put together. The only problem I had with it was that the bees and yellowjackets loved to build nests on it.
