What has been the recent experience with platinum cruisers checking in at the concierge registration area in Port Canaveral?

We arrived at PC from AKL via DCL bus around 1PM and were able to check in at the concierge desk without issue. This was for the 7/28/12-8/4/12 Fantasy Eastern sailing.

On our June 30 Fantasy sailing my platinum stateroom checked-in at concierge, our non-platinum stateroom was told to check-in at the normal check-in counters.
