OK, so this is probably a silly question but what does it mean when next to the Caesar salad it says "plated table side" Does that mean like family style or do the servers serve it next to the table??????
Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure it means........
Instead of bringing the salad out already on plates, they are going to make it at the table and then serve it to each person.
Yes! That's what it means. In the old days, this was considered really swanky. If you go to a throwback restaurant like Lawry's The Prime Rib, they wheel out a cart with a big old dish and all the ingredients, then make a big show of tossing the salad, pouring in the dressing with their arms up in the air, etc.
Somehow, I dont think this is what they do at Disney. Prolly they come out and stand next to you and put a portion on your plate....
