Plat Upgrades at PBH

Hi - I recently made a reservation at Portofino and was upgraded to the Porotofino Suite. I had wanted to book a club room but was told if I did that they could not upgrade me to a suite? Has anyone else tried this?

Can I ask to be upgraded to a villa suite? Are there suites on club level?

Again, thanks for any help. We will be four adults so the more room the better!

The standard upgrade for plat is to a Portofino Suite. Some of us have been lucky enough to receive an upgrade to a Villa Suite. They have even upgraded us to a VS on the 5th floor of the west wing with 3 balconies and with club access. Our last stay we were upgraded to a VS and I asked how much to gain club access and was told $60. That seemed like a deal since we had just stayed at RPR and they said it would be $100/night for club. I think they can give any room club access. Good luck!
