My son is going to be a pirate for MNSSHP and has a little plastic sword. Will I have a problem bringing this in park and what about plane?

No, he shouldn't have any problems with his costume for the event at all in my opinion since it's part of his costume. For the plane I would place it in the checked baggage so they do not throw a hissy fit about it.

They sell "Pirates of the Caribbean" swords IN the park, so yours should be no problem.

And, yes, IN the SUITCASE for the plane trip.

We have almost been hit by several plastic swords so I will guess that it won't be a problem getting them in.

My son was a pirate(as was the rest of the world) for the 9/22 party and we packed the sword in the checked luggage. We had no problems with it at the park.
Have a great time!
