). She didn't have too much trouble walking, although this may have been due to the location?
)Use the over the counter wart remover on the wart. Cover with duct tape. (I know sounds crazy.) Change this every day. The skin will get all moist and yucky and die. You will peal off the duct tape, and the dead skin will come off with the tape. Sounds like it will hurt, but it does not. If the wart is deep this will take months, but you will ultimately "dig out" the wart. One time I pealed up a wart and was able to see the wart on the duct tape. Other times it just slowly comes off in layers.
I had surgery to remove a number of warts. You are under twilight sleep. They dig very deep to make sure they get the entire wart out. They say it will heal in weeks. Truth is it takes months to heal. Walking while they heal is extremely painful. Working out is impossible.
Duct tape is the way to go.
. Finally, the pain began, and I went to the doc. The first time, they tried topical medications. When that didn't work, they cut them out. Well, I guess the dr. didn't cut deep enough, because all 3 came back. I went to another dr., and he got rid of them by cutting them out. I wasn't under twilight, like the op. They numbed my entire leg from mid calf down to my toes. I didn't feel anything, but it hurt like crazy after. I wore a surgical boot for a few days, and that was that. What did I learn? Don't let them go! Take care of them as soon as possible!I had them twice. I had no idea what they were, and I admit, I forgot about them. Finally, the pain began, and I went to the doc.
