Plantar's Nuts and Hampton Farms

We're having a party Sunday and I bought Plantars mixed nuts and DH bought a bag of Hampton Farm peanuts in the shell. I don't see these companies on the recall list but am still worried. Would you still eat them?

Yes....it's not the plain peanuts or peanut butter that was the problem....it was the processing of the peanuts into peanut paste by a specific processing company for use in baked goods and snack crackers or peanut butter desserts that were recalled....therefore, I would think plain peanuts or mixed nuts would be fine....

Planter's nuts are fine. I checked their website and the fda site before I bought some.

You can look at the fda website if you're unsure about any products. There's a complete list.

ETA: I just looked at the Hampton Farms website for you and their products are safe.

Now they have expanded the recall. I know they were recalling products with whole nuts in them. I remember Stop n Shop on the list and Archer Farms from Target.. Yuck, I saw it on tv again the other day. The news reported that the factory was overrun with rats..
