This is our 5th trip to WDW, and in the past I relied heavily on TGM to plan our itinerary. Just like he said would happen, we would go one way while the crowds went the other way. Without his advice, we never would have survived Christmas Eve, Day, and New Years Eve in WDW. Our last trip was in 2011, and many things have changed since then. I was really relying on his advice once again to navigate all of the changes.
I had a membership last year for our upcoming trip, and shortly thereafter, his website shut down, and he disappeared with my payment. Gone...no reason given. Yikes!!!
After booking our July trip, I had to book our ADRs pretty quickly afterward if I wanted certain restaurants. For the first time, we decided not to get Park Hopper. Our trip will consist of 1/2 day in Hollywood, one day in Epcot, and the remainder of our trip in MK. So, wherever we are eating determines what parks on what days. Okay...I did that without him. I have no idea if we are ending up in parks on their most crowded days, so we will be sure to get in at rope drops and Fast pass what we really want.
I guess what I'm looking for are any tips regarding what rides & attractions (so many new ones in MK) really need to be Fast passed and which ones do not.
I welcome any tips, short cuts, and advice anyone can give me since right now, I feel like I'm just "winging it."
