We are semi-locals contemplating a 2-night stay at RPR and two days in the parks in early November. We are terrified of the crowds after Epic Universe opens, so this is intended to be our last hurrah for probably two years.

I have been an APH and our last visit was in March 2023, so recently enough. The biggest change is now we’re parents and my husband and I will now have our 11 month old in tow.

I am a little confused about what he can do. There are rides without height limits but a website I visited said “no handheld infants” on everything without a limit. So can he or can he not ride One Fish Two Fish?! He absolutely loves the water—are there any splash pads?

We are well aware this trip is 99% for us. He is such a happy, go with the flow baby who will be thrilled with the pool at the hotel and just walking around. But I’d love to be able to have an idea going in on what attractions he’ll be able to experience…

I think the Caro-Seuss-el might be the only ride an 11 month old can go on.

There are several water feature play areas/splash pads in IOA (Toon Lagoon, Me Ship the Olive, & Seuss Land) and the Dreamworks Land (US) has a lot for small children to explore and do. The family friendly shows like Oh The Stories You'll Hear or the Frog Choir, and the character meet and greets may also be a good option.

I don’t see a height minimum for one fish two fish. They would have to sit next to on the inside of the bench. You could put your arm around them, but they must stay seated on their own. Only you will know if your child would be okay with that. They can do Minions with you in the stationary seats.

I've taken my kids at this age, when my youngest was 11 months old we of course did a lot of child swaps, but she was able to go onto the carousel and that was it. They wouldn't even let her on one fish, two fish.
Disney is def better with babies and toddlers.

Rides are definitely limited. The only ride we took our 13 month old on was the Caro-suess-el. Thankfully (for now) she's a giant and has already hit the 36" mark before the age of 2 so that opens up a few more options for our next trip.

Not sure if you and your husband were looking to utilize rider swap for rides you both want to go on. I thought we'd use it, but my wife and I ended up just doing some of the single rider lines instead, that way one of us could still be taking our daughter around the park in her stroller.

At the end of the day, we did much fewer rides than we normally do, but it was still a super special first trip with our daughter and it really helped us slow down and take in the park vibes. I hope you guys have a blast! :-)
