Planning trip, need help with hotel location

We are planning a trip to US/IOA for May 2003, we are looking at an economy hotel. So far we have Days Inn , and a Ramada Limited. Does anybody know how close these hotels are to US/IOA and if we can walk to the entrance. Also if these hotels are a good place to stay. Just looking for a quick 4 day trip, not looking for onsite, expensive hotel. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Don't know about the ones you have mentioned, but look into the Holiday RIGHT across the street ~ www.hiuniversal.com~ they were reasonable the last time we stayed off site. Plus theres a TGIFriday's on the ground floor/lobby

hey, we are going in may also. may 3rd thru the 10th.
we are staying at the howard johnson inn @ 6603 international drive...rooms are reasonable,,they have a pool & breakfast.
1 mile from universal ,3 miles from sea world ,1 mile from wet-n-wild, and they also have free shuttles. lots of restaurants close by. check out the web site.
