Hi all - my girlfriend and I are getting married next year in July and she wants to go to Disneyworld for our honeymoon with our 4yr old son.

Since July will be too hot, we might wait until about late October to go to Orlando.

How are people planning a trip over 12 months ahead in time? Do i need to wait until this summer before I can get prices appearing on websites?

Also - my uncle has a villa in Orlando that we will be using so it will just be flights and park tickets I will need to pay (and pocket money for food and stuff)

I have noticed that there is the 14day ticket for 7days offer sometimes - am i best to wait for those? how often do these offers appear?

thanks

Hi, congaratulations on your wedding! :goodvibes
Flights generally go on sale 11 months before, so they should be out in November for Oct 2012.
The 14 day for 7 day price is this years offer. The prices for 2012 with all the major tour operators are going to be released in April/ May. Just keep an eye on this board and you'll soon see what is released and for how much!
Just so you know that the Disney store in the Uk also sells WDW park tickets and I think they are generally the same as the tour operators. The good thing if you buy them at the Disney store is you can buy them one at a time, thus spreading the cost!

Happy planning!

Claire :)

oh cool! thank you very much for this - i didnt know. definitely worth remembering
is oct/nov one of the cheapest (in terms of flights) to go to orlando?
i have only been there once back in 2007 and we went late sept for 2 weeks thru travelcitydirect.co.uk (or something)

You can book 18 months in advance if you book a flydrive. If you want flight only and to book car hire separate then yes, as advised they go on sale 11 months in advance! :thumbsup2

Hmmmm......as for the cheapest time to go to Orlando, I dont think there is such a thing anymore
