Planning Sessions?

Hey again,

How soon can you confirm your planning session? We are DVC members and July (would be our planning session month) is just around the corner and it's difficult to find the resort we would want to stay at.

Unfortunately, they are only Monday through Friday.

I'm not sure whens the earliest you can confirm it, but we confirmed the actual Planning session in October, so that was about 10 months before the wedding date. Our Planning session is next month which is about 5 months before the wedding.

Because I was originally planning an Escape wedding and then changed to a Wishes last month I scheduled my planning session with my sales person and as of Monday afternoon I had a planner assigned to me, Carol, who confirmed my PS and that she received my planning packet.

So you can schedule it from one day to the next. I scheduled it with my sales person because I wanted to do it soon seeing that my wedding is now less than 4 months away. My expenditure $$ is due March 16, so I wanted to have my planning session as close to that date as possible so I know exactly how much more I owe and can pay it off as soon as possible. My PS is scheduled for March 26th.

We did our in dec for our July date, but couldn't get our BEO until 6 months out....I guess thats when they lock in prices.

My tasting starts at 9:30am and then we have our planning appointment for 1pm at Francks. I was told I'd be out of there hopefully by 3-4pm. So it's an all day thing.

My Planning session starts at 9:00am, tasting at 9:30 am and they said we should be done around 1-2.

It depends on what you want to do or see. Mine took about 2 1/2 hours because I didn't need to have a food tasting (we did cake, though!). That included going to see the WP and the Whitehall Room.
