Planning Sessions Question

When did you guys find out when your planning session was? Did you have a coordinator assigned to you before you had a date for your planning session? Also, did they tell you when the planning session was or can you select a day from certain dates? Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can call them and let them know when you are available. Then you make a appointment

We told our SM in August that we'd be in WDW for 3 days in December, and that was the only time before our wedding we'd be able to be there. The next day she had our planning session confirmed for Dec 19. She was not allowed to tell her who our EM was at this point though. We had not even signed the contract yet. In my experience, DFTW can be very flexible and accomodating to you in regards to planning session dates. Good luck

We scheduled our planning session once we had been assigned our coordinator. We scheduled it directly with her based on when we could be in FL and what her schedule was.

Well our wedding is in April but with scheduling and timing to be considered for both DF and I's work we already set our our planning visit with the wedding rep who set our wedding date. We do not have a planner yet as we do not sign the contract until July. She just made a note what days we would be there and the wedding planner will have to block that time off. Disney says this happens every once and while and its not a big deal. This probably does limit who might be your planner but from what I hear on this forum all the planners are good.
