Planning Session Tasting Checklist (Cakes?)

Hey everyone,

Quick question. We are filling out our planning kit and tasting checklist but we are confused about cakes. Is there a separate section where we request the cake flavors/fillings? We can't find it on any of our checklists or the planning kit.

You will taste small pieces of all the cakes to mix and match with little tubs of all the offered fillings/frostings. You don't have to narrow it down

Yes, make sure you request the flavors you want, if you don't you won't get ALL the flavors to try!

I'm pretty positive we didn't select things to try for the cake, they just presented us with numerous options. As always, contact your planner/assistant if you have questions!

I think they do provide a 'standard' set of cakes and flavors, but have been told by several brides if you don't request certain flavors you don't get them. Obviously they can't provide them all (or would think you were totally greedy ).

For our PS in 2 weeks, I just sent an email to my planner's assistant as to what cake flavors and fillings we wanted to try. I haven't heard anything back from her that they can't do it, so I am assuming it's all set.

Carrie--if we told them there was an allergy at the beginning, would we still need to remind them for the cake/meal tasting? (In our case, the pineapple would result in an issue). How does Disney handle allergies in that sense?

Disney takes allergies very seriously, so one mention should be enough. But if it's a serious problem, I would definitely double check before you tasted anything.
