Planning Session Question

During the planning session do I have to stay on Disney property?? I was planning on driving up for the day but on my confirmation it says to give my planner my hotel confirmation.

You do not have to stay on Disney property for your PS. I believe that they ask for your reservation number so, IF you stay at Disney they have another way to get ahold of you.
