Hi all,
Not been to Orlando for a few years and planning a trip for next year with my partner.
He says that he is not keen on rides as done that when he was in his teens 'he is now 36'. REALLY hoping once he is there that he will love the rides!!! He liked Alton towers etc but felt he has out grown that. I tried to say Alton towers rubbish compared to Florida. He has agreed to come with me anyway.

I have chosen RRP as I think it looks lovely and the reviews are really great. Think HRH will be a bit loud and also heard can't really swim as too shallow.

Anyway emailed RRP and asked about rooms with views or WWOHP. Said only have a few and would need to request tower 1 or 3 with water view.
Can I ask should I just forget about a view of WWOHP if there only a few rooms avail?
What are the water views like? Is a view of the pool better than a view of the water ways?
Also something I would like is a quiet room. I have heard quite a few people talk about some rooms noisy and kids always running down hall ways 'maybe exagerated'. What sort of request should I ask for a quiet room? Maybe end hallway?
Also some say try not to get in tower 2. I am guessing looking at map that Damo put on on another thread it is due to location.
In the event I was put in tower 2 would this be an issue?

A stupid question here.. I saw in pictures that there is bottles of water and cookies on the side. Am I able to have those removed? $7 for a water I may drink by mistake when half asleep lol. I know a silly question but just wondering.

One last question.. HHN. I will be going for one night and noticed some of you are going into park at 4.30pm. Is that not a bit early? I thought it would start when it was dark at about 7pm. Guess more atmosphere when it is dark :)
if I had the express pass is possible that I would be able to get all the houses done in one evening?

Sorry for the long post thanks for any help.

I can't answer all you questions...we stayed at RPR about 10 years ago but will be back this Oct as well. As far as requesting a view, go ahead. Nothing to loose right? We don't worry too much about the view because we're not staring out the window all day. I will, however, be requesting tower 1 since its close to the walking path.

As for HHN if you have a park ticket for the same day your going to HHN, you should be in the park before they close at 5:00. When they close, they will make all the people who do not have HHN tickets leave. If you are already in the park you will get into the HHN area before the rest of the general public. this will allow you to go through 2 or 3 houses with minimal wait. The later it gets, the more crowded it gets. Ive heard there can be wait lines hours long.

I also have a question about RPR....Are there robes in the rooms, or could I request them from star service? I hate to use luggage space for a robe, but due to teen age son sharing our room, I'd really like to have one :)

There aren't any cookies in the room. That was the old welcome gift. There is a bottle of water and some treat of some kind on the sideboard. You can ask to have them removed.

I don't find any of the rooms noisy. People tend to be very busy. Just pick a tower that is most convenient for your needs.
