Planning question re: AKV value studios

I came up with one of my own! Of the 18 possible value studios at Jambo, only 2 are parking lot view. Of these two, neither are dedicated studios - both lockoffs (see this post here: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=37545927&postcount=39).

In the past, I've seen some of our studio reservations listed on the member site as being in "Ded. studios", or dedicated studios. Is it possible when reserving a value studio to have MS book a dedicated studio, so as to essentially guarantee either a savanna or pool view?

not anymore, no.

they caught on and no longer specify whether you are getting a dedicated value room or not.

Kind of makes sense when there is such a limited number of values to start with.

By having such a limited number of rooms in a booking type it would have been very difficult to not end up with stranded days. I believe that's why it was been eliminated. Not to mention that it was yet another type to count towards your 2 waitlists allowed!

You should be able to request a dedicated studio and then keep your fingers crossed!

Maybe the best thing to do would be to request an ostrich trail room since requesting "savanna view" seems to be so confusing for the check-in staff.
