can you believe it??? i actually think we are going to Disney again but this is for my b-day as it is what i really want to do.

we will have to stay off-site again due to cost but that's fine with me but this time i am ordering a cake from the cake hotline as I have never had a fancy b-day cake in my life :) so this will be fun. i am working with a girl named Kelly. she has been great so far.

it will be a short four-day trip due to cost but that works for me too.

i'll be using a scooter again so i can enjoy the Magic Kingdom and the Christmas party :) but this time we are going to rig something to elevate my legs so they don't swell to the point of almost bursting open.

my pain mgmt doctor said it is prob. due to the arthritis med or the fibro. med i am taking so i need to keep my legs elevated.

we will have my b-day dinner at the Cape May Cafe as I saw it profiled on a Disney dining cable show awhile back. Kelly from the cake hot line said they do deliver cakes there :) YEAH.

we are just doing Magic Kingdom this time around, no Discovery Cove due to costs. i wish we could go back there as i could not move after the Dolphin swim due to swelling. I really wanted to swim in the sting ray areas and go down the lazy river. maybe another year.

Good for you and your family. Enjoy every moment.

When my legs swell, I use my backpack on the floorboard of the scooter to allow me to elevate the legs. The backpack that I have is one that is a larger one meant for carrying a laptop and is pretty sturdy one, so it allows my legs to rest on it without collapsing.

we have one of those backpacks, great idea.
