The trip is officially this week now! We are so excited!

It is so hard to believe the wedding and disneymoon are less than 7 months away. Because we decided on a longer engagement, they were so far off that it didn't really even seem real. I can't believe how quickly the months have flown by!

That's what I've been thinking, too - once Christmas is over and we're into the New Year it's going to be countdown time for sure!

OUTFITS & PACKING!

Well, I've done it again. I've managed to do my packing early! I think my trip to Italy cured me of last minute packing for good! With a much busier schedule than I'm used to, I knew it might be a little foolish to put off our packing until the night before our trip. I started last weekend laying out clothes, taking pictures of outfits and getting the suitcases ready. Of course I had to start with another spreadsheet to help me stay organized!

I love it, and it didn't take long to make at all! It's a little larger than it appears here, since I have some lines that couldn't be captured in the screenshot, but this is the bulk of what we'll be bringing along on the trip.

Next was to plan my outfits! Doing this before the big Italy trip was a tremendous help. Photographing the outfits allowed me to be able to put everything in piles and then just reference back to my pictures when I started my packing - very easy! Here's what I'll be wearing on our upcoming trip..

Our first day at the Magic Kingdom. At night I'll probably keep the same shirt on and just throw on a jacket since it's supposed to get into the 50's at night while we're there.

Here's what I'll be wearing on our second day at Epcot during the day...

And later that night for dinner at 'OHana and some resort decor hopping.

The DHS daytime outfit for day three...

And the evening outfit for dinner at Sci-Fi and the Osborne Lights.

On the last day, I'll be wearing this to the AK during the day...

I bought another long-sleeve shirt yesterday for this trip that I think I will wear on our final night when we return to Epcot for dinner at La Hacienda and Illuminations. It's ivory with a cute ruffle at the neck. I'm washing it, so no picture.

And, since I learned my lesson in January...

My coat will most definitely be coming along! Chances are we won't need our heavy coats this time around, but I want to pack them just incase!

Thankfully our "packing piles" didn't take up too much room in the guest bedroom!

Here's a little sampling of Miguel's wardrobe for the trip...

And speaking of Miguel, he's already packed!

I'm getting there, too. All of my outfits (minus the new shirt) have been put into Ziplock bags along with socks, underwear and jewelry for the day.

All of those bags are in the suitcase, along with my pants and pajamas. I've still got to throw my bathing suit in and a pair of flip flops for the pool. I'll also be putting both of our toiletry bags in my big suitcase, but that will probably be done Wednesday night since we'll need to use the stuff before then.

So things are really coming along! I can't believe we've only got four more days to go!

I was thinking of doing the same thing..but I wonder if airport security would dig through the bags though? Hmm...another positive of driving!

I love all of your outfits! And how they coordinate with your hipster! If the weather stays the way it was when I was just there, you shouldn't need your coat, it was pretty warm during the day and cool at night, I just needed a light hoodie. And I kept watching the weather and they were saying at the end of last week that it was going to get even warmer!

I'm so glad to hear that about the weather! I don't mind a little chill at night, I just don't want to freeze like we did in January! Hopefully my strategy of short sleeves during the day and long sleeves at night will work.

Organizing helps me stay sane! Without it I feel out of control! It's pretty easy to keep two adults organized, though. I can imagine once you add a child in it becomes much more difficult!

I definitely get into the outfit planning! I can't imagine what I'll be like when I have a child to dress - it will be out of control I'm sure!

TIME TO HIT THE ROAD!!!

I can't believe the day is finally here! We'll be leaving for Disney is about 4 hours and we can barely contain our excitement!

Thankfully I was able to get off of work early yesterday so I was able to get some last minute packing done like getting our toiletry bags organized, getting some drinks and snacks for our hotel room in their bag, and getting all of our electronic items into a bag as well.

Now the only thing left is to get ourselves ready! We're going over to my grandparent's house (next door) for lunch about 12:30 and then we'll hit the road!

I decided to go ahead and do online check-in Tuesday night since we'll be getting in sort of late tonight. I hope it will not hurt our chances of getting a room in the Mansions section! I called Disney yesterday just to confirm our request was on there - and it was! I also decided to go ahead and pay off the balance of our room while I was on the phone. Since we normally do a package it was weird not having to pay off the balance before the trip.

So, I think we are ready to go! Thanks so much for helping me plan for this trip! When we get back the real planning can start, because it will be time to focus on the Disneymoon!

I did online check in also, and we got both requests, a 2nd floor room and a room in Oak Manor so I don't think it hurts your chances for your requests! And our room was ready really early too!
