Planning one day trip at UIA and US

Thanks all. We would really like to do Hagrids. I think we might rope drop that and risk the kids reaction. There is a lot we won’t care much about beyond what I posted in the first post. We can skip Seuss land, Jimmy Fallon, woody, Minions, Shrek,

we are really going for Harry Potter stuff. Plus Borne, Simpsons area, Kong, Mummy, Spider-Man. Maybe the water rides that don’t have huge drops. Anything else is bonus. I made a lunch reservation at Margaritaville but I may cancel as I dont want to get locked out if we leave and the park hits capacity.

You won't get locked out for going to Margaritaville. Go! It will be a nice break for your group.

I would 'not' skip Jimmy Fallon. That was the one ride that I saw small children begging to do again. I had no idea what to expect, but it was fun!

The Seuss Ride in the sky is a niceittle ride over the park that goes slow and always has a cool breeze.

I 2nd Jimmy Fallon - and it's virtual que, so you can just grab a spot and get to it.

As my kids said, it's the one simulator where you don't have to get "saved":)...and the whole experience from the minute you walk in is great - it's night and day between Fast and Furious and Jimmy Fallon - my kids also said Jimmy Fallon is what Fast and Furious should have been...

I've shown the ride video to the kids. My youngest is ready to go on it (she is more adventurous). The oldest is unsure. He really likes test track so the high speed ending should be fine. The going backwards concerns him. We might go and let them decide when we get next to it. I hate to miss it and it seems to have very long waits all day unless you rope drop it vs Grigotts which seems to eventually open up a bit and has EP. I'm actually more concerned that they won't like Mummy since it's dark and fast.

If we rope drop and head right to Hagrids, and our 14 yo son decides he does not want to ride it, will they allow him to go on Hippogriff without us? What are the age limits to ride without a parent? Both kids are quite tall for their age so he is around 70" and she is around 60"

Not sure what the age limits are, if any, but our kids have ridden Hippogriff multiple times by themselves. They were 13 and 14 on the last trip...
