planning on dining at Ohana,I have questions

I would love to go from the animal kingdom, when it closes to this resturant, can you tell me how to go from the animal kingdom to the polynesian ? also it has late seating, do I go back to the park again to get on a bus to go back to my motel ? seems like a lot of traveling to get a dinner.
We will be staying at the pop century.

Do you have time on a MK day to dine there instead? It is a trek just for dinner, but if you're already at the MK one day you can hop the boat or monorail to the Poly, dine, and then hop back to the MK.

If you want to do it on your AK day, you'll just board the bus at AK that is going to the Poly. There will be signs to tell you where each bus goes.

After that, I believe the easiest free way to get back to Pop would be to take the bus from the Poly to Downtown Disney, get off, and get in line for the Pop bus. If it's not too late, you could take a bus to a theme park and do the same thing but you often don't run into a huge of crowds at Downtown Disney like you would at closing time at the parks.

Someone correct me if there is a better way to get back to Pop.

For a few bucks, you can call a cab and be back at your resort within minutes. Which is just the thing I would do after a long day

Take a bus to the Poly, then when leaving if you are staying at a monorail resort you can take that if not you can take a bus from poly to a park that is still open or go to Downtown Disney and hop a bus to your resort from there. Hope this helps

You can take a bus directly to the Poly as a previous poster mentioned. To get back to Pop after your meal, hop on the monorail (a fun attraction all its' own) to the MK and get the Pop bus from there. This should work fine since MK is almost always open much later than AK.

In 2005, we left AK at 4pm to make 6:30 ressies at LTT. While at AK bus stop, we decided to go back to our room at WL to grab our jackets. So, we took the bus to WL, quickly grabbed our coats, and took the boat to MK. We got to LTT at 7pm!

I think I would take the bus straight to MK, and then the monorail to the Polynesian. As for the return trip, you will have to get to a park or DTD before transferring to POP. I would transfer back to the MK IF it weren't near closing time.

Mickey'sApprentice: I'm not sure why the OP should take a bus from AK to MK and then have to transfer to get to the Poly. Why not take a bus directly from AK to the Poly?

My thought was that the MK bus may run more frequently than the Poly bus and then they could just get on the monorail.

Now that I think about it, it would be a good walk from the bus stop to the monorail station. (Not Awful, but not like getting off the bus at the poly.)
